HP-fanfic-fan101 chapter 1 . 7/20/2019
I'm going to freaking cry! This was soo beautiful, the pain and fear and worry and srress was so real. Thank you for writing this! :'(
Cassandra30 chapter 1 . 7/3/2019
Very strange.
Liza chapter 1 . 5/29/2018
What a sweet tale. A lovely character study of Remus, and those are hard to come by.
Sophia the Scribe chapter 1 . 4/20/2018
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Everything from the nerdiness of mathematical calcuations and your perfect treatment of Remus's growing-up years to the consideration of there being other platforms and how that would be regulated was perfectly conceived and executed. Well done!

Sasha Clarkson chapter 1 . 1/16/2018
As a mathematician, I approve of this story: transcendental complex numbers *and* emotional complexity too; what more could one want! :D
pinks99 chapter 1 . 10/15/2017
wonderful story! Love the odd platforms.
Writer's-BlockDP chapter 1 . 6/17/2017
As a math teacher and an epic nerd, I can't even begin to describe how much I enjoyed this. The first time I read it, I had to hold a hand over my mouth to keep from waking up my roommate with the insane giggling.

"He had finally found the place you end up when you have nowhere to go, and yet you must go somewhere. Only here may nowhere and somewhere exist in the same place... Zero and one, nowhere and somewhere where destinations could be impossible, imaginary but without question always necessary. Sometimes there just has to be a balance, even when it came to public transport."
This line is beautiful and profound and hilarious all at the same time. The whole theory behind the fractional platforms, plus platform three-and-a-bit, were all awesome.
Ikurus chapter 1 . 6/10/2017
Thank you for writing and sharing this gem.
jesusfreak100percent chapter 1 . 6/17/2016
...and Remus fell asleep on the train, waking up to find himself in a compartment with a group of frantic teenagers meeting a Dementor as it searched a train for Sirius Black.

Probably not quite how it went, because as desperate Dumbledore is for DADA professors I doubt he just accepted Remus stumbling off the train in Harry's third year and said "Alright, you can teach."

Actually, Dumbledore would do that. That is now my head-canon. Thank you for this wonderful tale.
justabooklover19 chapter 1 . 6/1/2016
I LOVE THIS STORY! It's so sad though...Remus doesn't end up finding happiness, only an escape. I'd definitely love to read a sequel, but I see this fic was posted in 2007. It would be great to read more where he finds happiness and teaches at Hogwarts and meets Tonks.

I completely agree with Remus on imaginary numbers. The square root of -1 has always bothered me.

This was an awesome fic! Although the ending was already awesome, I hope I get to read more!

Keep writing!
Potter Abducted by Penguins chapter 1 . 6/1/2016
What an interesting story! I quite like it.
dianaanne chapter 1 . 4/4/2016
Quite a story. I've always wondered what Remus did all those years he was alone; might you continue it?
Inconclusive chapter 1 . 12/30/2015
This was brilliant. What a nice expansion on the universe and look into Remus's life.
Eclectic Me chapter 1 . 5/1/2015
Oh my, I just needed to tell you that this story gave me such goosebumps! It's hard to explain because much of it sent me on a rather personal spin, but the gist of it was how much change can occur in one lifetime. I've always loved Remus, (who doesn't?), and I'm happy to see that this story showed him in some of his happier moments as well as the not so happy ones.
LunaNotLoony chapter 1 . 3/28/2015
Absolutely brilliant. Faved
