OH MY GOD— THIS WAS SO GOOD—

How did I not read this a long time ago? Like, seriously? What's wrong with me! That was awesome! I just love stories like this where the writer takes something that seemed so small from the show, something that might even pass the viewer by without them noticing, (like the Gallantmon at the fair) and somehow managed to turn it into a story!

I love how you took that small moment where he's seen at the fair, and gave him a whole story, a history, and a background and turned him into somebody significant. It was wonderful!

You always make me love the Royal Knights even more than I normally do! Whether it's in a story or if we're just talking about them!

You killed my favorite royal knight! But I think this story is a great idea anyway. I'm into writing backstories and missing scenes myself, especially because Frontier has so many unexplained elements (and the Ancient Warriors left SO much room for this). I knew he was going to lose, but still... Loved seeing the Indifferent Knight get it. I've always hated him.

Your idea how gallantmon returned to fight his fellow knights and how they were weak against the heros, but it is said how gallantmon was defetaed.

Good idea to say what Gallantmon was doing during the events of Frontier. However, there are a few things holes in the logic you are using. First of all when Lucemon scanned Gallantmon he should have evolved to Chaos Mode. If Dynasmon and Crusadermon provided enough power then Gallantmon certainly would (he's powerful enough to fight them both in his normal form), that being the second thing and finally you have the Royal Knights as a whole help the legendary warriors. For one thing Alphamon could stand up to Lucemon Wild Mode (Mega form) and Omnimon to Chaos Mode (Ultimate) and as for the Veemon brothers, UltforceVeedramon would have enough power to in his normal form to beat normal Lucemon. Good story though.

Poor Gallantmon and Grani. Why'd you have to kill them? They're the best digimon alive. What ever did they do to you? But i love the story, it clears some things up of why the Warriors were suddenly so strong.

wow, i haven't ever really wanted to go back and watch frontier for a while, but this definitely is prodding me in the back to go to youtube and watch the second arc of frontier. which, of course, will be done as soon as i have a moment to breathe from school.

i'm looking forward to when you come out with "Royal Showdown: Round 2" and "Goggles"

My favorite Royal Knight beating the crud out of my two least favorite ones. Good work, Gallantmon. You couldn't have made Takato any prouder...

Very interesting take on the story behind where the Gallantmon went. This is actually the first Frontier fic that I have seen that has focused only on Digimon that were not the Legendary Warriors, so I must applaud you for that.

I love how you were able to give both Gallantmon and Grani their own distinct personalities in such a short period of time. This is just a one-shot, but the story behind it is definitely something dense and far longer, but we do not need to know the whole story to understand the impact behind what you've written. Because of that, I think it's very well laid out. You gave the readers just enough back story to keep up with the relationships between each character.

Another thing that I really liked a lot was the fact that Crusadermon and Dynasmon were very much in character. We never really do get a good in-depth back story on those two Digimon, but I think you were even able to capture a layer of those two that was not seen in Frontier while still keeping what the writers of the show intended for the audience to get. You obviously understood these two characters before even walking into this story - and considering that you're a Royal Knights fan, that is not surprising.

The ending definitely surprised me. I knew that Gallantmon was going to lose - of course I knew - but I just could not see how, especially after he reached Crimson Mode. Having Lucemon do the deed, however, was pure genius, I think. It came out of left field - I never expected him to show up - and yet, it made perfect sense. I think the way you tied off the story was beautifully done.

Great work! I loved it! This is going onto my favorites.

Oh, I love it! I never even thought twice about that Gallantmon. lol But this makes a lot of sense. I especially liked the way you portrayed the relationships of the Royal Knights.

A very nicely-done encounter and battle between the Royal Knights, it's too bad that Gallantmon lost the battle. I especially liked the way Gallantmon reminded them of the sacrifices of the other Royal Knights during the battle between the Legendary Warriors and Lucemon.
