Donna Bella chapter 1 . 7/19/2011
I love it! Please write more like this!:D

I love that you didn't change their personalities too much from how they are in the books. So many fanfics I read completely change the character and it loses so much of the Harry Potter essence, so thank you for that!

A sweet little one shot, but I'd recommend getting someone to read over your stories before you post them. You have several grammatical and spelling errors that detract from the reading and even made it difficult to understand what was being said at times.

You also occasionally jumped from one POV (Ginny's) to another (Hermione's or Harry's) which made the story seem choppy.

You have good potential for romantic stories. Find a good 'beta' reader and you'll go far.

DCoD chapter 1 . 9/4/2007
Amazing! I've been rereading your stories since I reread the entire HP series over the past month, and I haven't yet read your two other newer stories.. but this one was in my inbox just now, so I figured, well... let's get started... so here we go!

Of course, Hermione is the one who easily notices the troublesome look upon dear Ginny's face. And yet again, she's the one to interpret the reason it's there. I'm with Hermione on this; Harry returning to Ginny should've been the easiest bit, but... maybe he hasn't quite caught up with himself there yet? There is quite a lot to process, after all... Like Ginny says.

'“You know, Fred would murder us if he saw us sitting here, crying about something we can’t change instead of trying to make some kind of joke about it”' - Ain't that the truth

'“If the boy who ended things with you,” Ginny blazed on, ignoring Hermione’s interruption, “Had, during your time apart, literally saved the world and destroyed the most evil monster known to man, but, after that small disruption, didn’t seem to be in any hurry to commence the snogging where it left off?' - If that doesn't sound like something Ginny would say, even in her small bit of depression and angst, then I don't know what is hehe

'“Honestly, Hermione? You’re going to shy away now, after you just forced me to admit that I’ve been moping around here because my boyfriend – erm, sort-of boyfriend – can’t get his head out of his arse. Not that I want to hear the details of my how idiot brother finally managed to snog you, of course, but—”

“I kissed him.”

Ginny’s mouth snapped shut, and the hand which she’d reached out to smack Hermione on the arm with froze in midair. “Oh.” Then, “I should have figured. Merlin knows Ron can be bloody stupid when it comes to jumping in front of curses meant for those he loves, but when it comes to actually showing that love in other ways, well...”

Hermione shrugged. “I—it wasn’t planned the way that it happened,” she said quietly. “Not that I would have wanted...I mean...” She trailed off helplessly.

Ginny reached over and laid a hand on Hermione’s arm. “But it was perfect anyway, wasn’t it?”

Hermione blushed even harder but nodded gratefully. “Yes, it really was.”' - Yes, I had to put this whole bit here because, really, the whole thing was absolutely brilliant. The two girls are perfectly in character, and I love how easily Hermione admits to being the one to engage the kiss first, thus enabling Ginny to want to make the first move toward Harry after everything that's happened. Plus, incredibly romantic, with Hermione knowing it wasn't the 'way she planned it', but it was perfect no matter what.

Good ole Colin. He was always there to capture the moments that otherwise would've just dimmed as distant memory. Bless him...

'“Just say what you feel,” she added. “But,” she reached out and gently turned his chin so he was facing her, “You have to look at me, all right? Those are the only rules.”

Harry blinked slowly and nodded his head almost imperceptibly.

“I love you.”

Ginny let out a small squeak. Words are beyond me.

“I love you, and for the last fucking year I wanted nothing else besides you.”' - My heart skipped a beat reading this bit. Gods, the romance.. the desire.. those two are so perfect together...

Damn right, Ginny. You tell him he could've had you all he wanted. Even if he WAS fighting so that afterward, you two could have that. Harry and his hero complex. heh Gods, but we all love him for it anyway. And yes, Harry definitely knows how to speak about the things that everyone's afraid to mention...

'Harry had turned his head away, and his shoulders were shaking slightly as silent tears rolled down his cheeks. Acting purely on instinct, Ginny threw herself at him, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck. He grabbed on just as tightly, his arms trembling even as he clutched her to him. ' - That... is a beautiful picture.

Woot, the first post-battle kiss!

'“Think Ron will stop worrying that I’m compromising you if I tell him that I love you?”

Ginny grinned. Some things never changed. “Worrying, no. Resisting the urge to punch you, definitely.”' - Silly Ron, being all overprotective of his sister, while his best friend is destined to make her the happiest woman ever.

Beautiful one-shot, my friend. But of course, your stories are always nothing short of marvelous. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us! :D
