Perhaps Harry needs to go to Slythering to make the necessary changes.

An maybe starting from Slytherin Harry could convince students not to be Death Eaters, Weakening Voldemort.

Personally I think the spell got it right the first time. Go all the way back to the Founders and make sure the "pureblood" ideas never get started.

I also think you missed a point in time. Just kill Albus as a baby. Gellert Grindelwald will never have Albus to "greater good" him into being a dark lord. The teacher in Albus place won't send Tom back to orphanage hell so no dark lord Voldemort. The "Greater Good" has driven Albus Dumb assed Dork to ruin more lives than anyone else.

You're absolutely right about bad time turn stories out there. Your one-shot has potential and could definitely be better than some out there if you decided to finish it. Which good time travel stories would you recommend, btw?
