When I first read this chapter, I skimmed over to the parts dealing with Kim and Ron. After reading it in it's entirety, I don't know how I feel about Kim and Ron's first time being used like this. Also, I couldn't help but notice that you cut from the scene before Kim and Ron got started to one dealing with a double meaning. If you ever continue this story, will the next chapter pick up the next morning where the dark spirits are gone, or are we going to see the 'ritual'?

Cool chapter,

Great buildup, and excellent work on Kim and Ron facing the shadows. The way things are going, I doubt there will be many shadows in the house left come morning.

Keep up the very good writing that you do,

I haven't had to look up so much Latin since school, it was actually quiet fun. I love the interweaving of the story with all the supernatural and mystic elements. Nice job, great story. Please update soon.
BiblioMatsuri chapter 15 . 5/13/2013
And due to a series of horrible coincidences, a freaking goddess now thinks Kim is a witch - and what's Marie going to think about the spell backfiring? Meanwhile, thanks to Ron and Amil being skeptical about the wrong thing, an old college professor who I suspect is a Cthulu cultist has discovered something hidden in the original Necronomicon. Hidden. In that book. *whimpers*

Never mind the other subplots - claw marks outside Savannah Venable's dorm room, and an absurdly youthful-looking mother? I'm thinking shapeshifter, but I dunno what kind.

Love dodecahedron from hell. Supernatural weirdness coming out of the darn woodwork. The potential return of the Old Ones... This is going to be bad.

This is going to be epic.
BiblioMatsuri chapter 13 . 5/13/2013
...Wait, didn't the Ron Factor turn out to actually be the Rufus Factor? (At least in canon. I know that this is an expansion/multi-crossover.)
BiblioMatsuri chapter 12 . 5/13/2013
Holy cr*p. That was scary. Kim is a badass. And Ron - as Makarash said, he is "a singular man." *cheers*

...Great, now he's being chased by two scary dark magic users who are probably not human, and one of them thinks Kim is the other. Great.
BiblioMatsuri chapter 10 . 5/13/2013
And Rufus sums up my feelings about this mess in two short words. Ai-yi-yi. Has Ron ever heard that saying about the road to hell and good intentions?
BiblioMatsuri chapter 9 . 5/13/2013
A ha ha. Hello, cosmic horror. And that bit about Amil was also foreshadowing, wasn't it?
BiblioMatsuri chapter 6 . 5/13/2013
Nitpick: I know the "i before e" rule, but "weird" is one of the exceptions.
BiblioMatsuri chapter 5 . 5/13/2013
"Supernatural", nail clippings and hair brushes, inhuman grace - yeah, no, not foreshadowing at all. Right. And I get the feeling he neither needs nor wants her kind of help.
BiblioMatsuri chapter 3 . 5/13/2013
...This is going to be interesting. And definitely far lighter in tone than the mythos. (Not that that's hard to do.)
BiblioMatsuri chapter 2 . 5/13/2013
Yay for Ron and his intuition, and his incredible dumb luck. That was way too close.
