OMG! That is so funny! Poor Shikamaru and poor poor Kankuro.

Oh this little piece was brilliant. I truly enjoyed the emotion it brought out. In realitiy, Temari is truly scary to the point where she is mean and dangerous. Under the pretenses of being a ninja and a temperamental pregnant one at that, the way her vicious self is overdone to the point on nearly killing her brother but coming back to being herself at the final delivery is just fantastically funny. I adore how it's so over the top, it's hilarious. Only someone like carefree, not wanting trouble, Shikamaru can get through a situation like this without blowing his top. His reactions and survival through it all makes it such a fun story.

I also liked how Gaara had a hands off policy on the "breakable" baby. You have a magic touch when it comes to writing. Thanks so much for sharing.

It's interesting how you managed to come up with an extreme scenario like this; I'm surprised, though, and thankful to some extent, that Temari managed to steer clear of all the traps she'd set in her condition (I can just imagine Shikamaru sneaking out of bed at night to clear her path, and possibly, his as well, of threats), and I'm, of course, naturally glad that Kankurou and Shikamaru both pulled through this ordeal...

Nice to see Kankurou appreciate that he has a brother-in-law who truly loves and care for his sister, whose viciousness he had a taste of. Never imagined Temari could be this vicious, and murderous, especially to Shikamaru, but hormones do strange things, and it sure revealed the sweet, patient side of Shikamaru. Glad Kankurou finally gets to see him for what he is, the best part being that Shikamaru himself wouldn't have and didn't complain of his ordeal...

Particularly appreciated the last two paragraphs (especially Kankurou's reaction to Temari's declaration; he should know, ha!) As for Tsunade, she, well, makes me sympathise a lot more with Shikamaru. Gaara... Now I really wonder what exactly made him grin...

Poor poor Shikamaru... If Temari gets her way again... Oh dear!
