To be honest, this story is flat.

It's a good plot, but it needs a lot of work. You should have added more feeling to Derek's thoughts. I mean really tell why Casey hanging out with his friends annoys him. Anything to make this story longer.

And another thing "And what was better than to see a crying Casey from other guys."

That means that seeing Casey cry in front of other guys is the best thing ever.

I suggest you work on your grammar.
