very well written. I love how you went more in depth with Danny and also ventured into the possible futures that could happen. Also I love how you said Danny was now viewed upon as a hope for the world since the world was in bad shape due to them pulling all their resources together. I nver thought of that possibility. Excellent job! :)

You know, you are scary when you "just throw something together." For something that you consider slap-dash, there is a good deal of emotion all over this fic.

It is beautifully written, and the issues you have Maddie think of are completely logical.

It must be weird for Maddie to think of her husband actively hating someone who used to be their friend. It is impossible to imagine what she must think when she discovered what Vlad did to Danny. (I wonder if Danny shared everything Vlad did to him with her. I notice that she hasn't mentioned Danielle, so there are obviously things she doesn't know of.)

The concept of politics... Wow. How world politics will deal with Danny is kind of scary. There is a lovely fic written by Michael J.J. called "Adjustment" on this topic (although it is better if you start with his two-shot called "Epiphany"). Another two-fic set that covers this topic beautifully is MyAibou's "Tales from the Phantom Planet" and "Infinite Potential."

But as for your work, you have done a beautiful job focusing on how very real Danny's mother might think of this whole scenario.

I agree with cordria 100% on this. It is just...jaw-dropping, how you put together all of the thoughts and possible outcomes into this stunning one-shot. My mind did run over these points, but you put them out on the plate and just made everything so real, and I can't thank you enough for it.

If you don't mind, I would like to write something in the future that uses this material and credit you for the inspiration. I don't think I could have EVER written my thoughts out like you have, so I don't feel right expanding on them without linking to you. Of course, this would be in the future, because I don't want to start anything and have it be a disservice to this story. It's just amazing, and it's so nice to read such raw talent and skill on Especially in the DP section. You are a breath of fresh air.

That’s one of my favorite parts too. It shows a different side of Jack that we rarely get to see. My other favorite part is when he yells going ghost into the broken Fenton Portal. It's just so powerful and sad. Thanks for posting this it was really good.

I agree even thought I feel sorry for Vlad, the scene with him and Jack in space kicked ass, we all gotta admit the evil half-ghost had this coming huh?

Every mother fears for the safety of their child(ren). For Maddie, there seem to be more fears than any one person can handle. You've captured them quite well.

Awh, poor Maddie, she seems so worried. I thought it was a good one-shot, I myself loved the Jack and Vlad scene, it was awesome.
