Really nice! You made a great job at capturing the depth and complexity of this character.

Ecellent fic. I LOVE how you've delved into Shiori's mind and for once, I feel like I truly understand what she was thinking throughout the whole series. You've also filled in gaps like why Shiori went back to Ohtori and her relationship with Juri, supplementing the series superbly. Best of all though, i love the way you write. It's so poetic with original metaphors that flow so well, lending the fic a beautiful surreal feel to it. I hope you write more because I thoroughly enjoyed this. (There were a few mistakes but they were minor... e.g. the first sentence of the fic... "Shiori leans at five to hate roses"... past tense... learned)

This was fantastic. A wonderful character study.

Right from the start you set the tone as well as giving us foreshadowing: Juri hates the things she loves; she wants to destroy them.

The progression of Shiori's feelings we move throught the fic is wonderfully done.

I love your take on why Shiori returned to Ohtori. It makes so much sense.

Oh, and the reason that Shiori was so disgusted that she was the person in the locket? Sheer brilliance.

Wow.

I absolutely love all of this fic, but my favourite part is the beginning, with the dead roses.
