Reviews for Vanilla, Oleander, Devotion
The Null Drone chapter 1 . 9/16/2018
Oh my, this hurt me... But at least it was a hopeful ending if not a happy one.
arlene56 chapter 1 . 9/2/2015
This was beautifully written, and so sad. The end, the "we," was very emotional for me. Thank you for sharing.
Celestial Secrets chapter 1 . 5/30/2011
I had read this story long ago, didn't review it, and had forgotten it. The angsty, dependent, and desperate relationship you paint between Ino and Sakura works wonderfully. They truly love each other, but they're often just so mean to each other and themselves. Your narrative prose is very poetic and helps create a more hazy, dramatic, tipping edge for the story.
Kajskk chapter 1 . 9/1/2010
Interesting and realistic story somehow. I liked it. The very small parts when they actually do exchange real sentences with each other are well fit as well. Very nicely written. From both perspective but without getting the feeling you're jumping and squeezing in stuff between the two.

Tildessmoo chapter 1 . 12/11/2009
For some reason, I feel I must review in lyric. Perhaps it's because it's 7 AM and I've been up since 10:30 AM yesterday:

If only you knew what's inside of me now,

You wouldn't want to know me, somehow,

But you will love me tonight;

I know we'll be all right

In the end.

-The Moody Blues

"Never Comes the Day"

Also, I think this is the most ninjaing I've seen in one of your Naruto fics yet. You really like the social interaction stuff, don't you?
lemon-rind chapter 1 . 9/2/2009
Liked, real suspenseful. but you need to let more on about why Ino's such a monster. It seems lacking...
SkywardShadow chapter 1 . 7/3/2009
This was great. Very powerful and full of emotion. Well done.
croquant chapter 1 . 6/17/2009
Wow.

Wow.

Wow.

100x, my admiration for your fiction is indescribable. (I've read your other works too, just couldn't find the right words to comment). Actually, maybe I've reviewed before...well I can't bother to remember right now.

You wear cliches in new ways, your prose is elegant, tender, and just beautiful. Somehow you manage to keep the character's authenticity in just the right way, while still in tune with their hearts.

No...wow.

I luuff it!

I love the title even more. Would it be ok if I used it in a poem I'm working on? It fits perfectly...I'll send it to you if you want. But it's not fanfiction-related nor is the writing anywhere near as talented as yours.

Continue writing, you've just converted me to the world of Naruto fandom. :P
roxxihearts chapter 1 . 12/10/2008
wow this was great! and just...crap i cant think of any good enough words for how awesome this is ((
Coco-Minu chapter 1 . 12/1/2008
Bittersweet, but I like it.
Don't Use Anymore chapter 1 . 11/26/2008
It was wonderful and cute.
Melitza chapter 1 . 7/17/2008
Profound. The depth and startling clarity you provide in each little section is amazing. Granted, I still don't necessarily get Ino's promiscuity, except perhaps, that it is just a part of her nature... and I (assume) the ending is hinting at they're kinda-sorta-together again...

But anyway - this was amazing in the complexity and the poignancy. I think it deserves a FAV! _
Animeaddict666 chapter 1 . 7/10/2008
I've never seen anyone write Sakura and Ino together this believably. Ever. It's stunning. I was crying at times. It was achingly beautiful. You're writing is so fluid and seamless and rich. I feel well fed after having read this.
karierte chapter 1 . 4/20/2008
That was beautiful.

I see it, I saw it, and it was wonderful. I was there, in the hospital, looking at Ino's face.

I remember that song from My Girlfriend, In Canada; the last one, the Bob Dylan one.

This...I'd love to find something as...pretty as this again.

There's actually a lot of hinty InoSaku in the real series; not once does she actually say anything about loving Sasuke, just 'You're not good enough for Sasuke-kun.'

Yeah.

Thank you. So very, very much.
Aimi-san chapter 1 . 3/6/2008
masterpiece... is all i can say... :,)
