I keep thinking that this might have been Nikki's dream to overcome her fears about being a doctor (or vet now, I suppose). Klonoa's a dream traveler after all. He can't just go to another world outside of dreams... Unless, you know, Fate decided to be evil...again. Thank you for having Klonoa ask Joka about the traveling between worlds bit (that always bugged the living crudula out of me).

Maybe there's a factory making Jokas somewhere as a sick prank on Klonoa. (At least it would partial explain why the clown keeps introduces himself.)

An interesting story to say the least. Considering that's there's under 300 stories on the series right now, it's hard to find a specific type of story (unlike other categories where the same ideas run rampant). Although, maybe it's a good thing the same ideas aren't seen over and over again in 50 different stories. This definitely stands out from the other fanfics I've seen. A human (without trying to kill him) actually meets Klonoa and helps him out upon first seeing him. And then Guntz and Pango... It'd definitely be scary seeing a creature you've never seen before walking up to you *in clothing* doing...well, anything. Talking, moving, bleeding, smiling, etc. It just isn't natural for humans to see an anthropomorphic animal as "normal."

Now, there were some spelling errors ("...a big smile n her face..."). I'm a bit of a perfectionist and that sort of thing makes me stop to fill in the right word(s). But aside from that, I found this rather enjoyable. (Well, except for the Circus of Hell in which I was wanting Joka to just fall into the Piranhas himself.) Thank you.

Another fan made an observation about Klonoa that can be applied to just about every situation he's ever been in, ever. Guntz will explain:

Poor Klonoa. He's getting tortured in this story.

Hit by a car. Beaten up by little kids. Bitten by Guntz. Forced to work in a circus by Joka. Mauled by Piranhas. Smoke Inhalation. Kidnapped by conspiracy freaks. Now he's probably going to be dissected, and that can't be good.

I'll be surprised if he lives. xD

Everything I learned about fires in school suddenly came flooding back to me, thanks. I think Klonoa broke at least five rules in regards to a fire in this chapter alone, aside from not going into one. That can't be helped, though. He'd never actually been in one. :D

Excellent job! I liked the way you kept of the pace with each chapter. The Sonic the Hedgehog reference was funny.

Also nice to see that you included an old boss from Door To Phantomile as 's enough to make a Klonoa fan cry tears of joy.

Try to double check for misspelled words though.I saw a few here and there but not that much.
