Spidergirl99 chapter 1 . 11/8/2017 Cute and sad at the same time. Love the feels and how real this is although I would never know cause my dad's the best thing in my life other than me and my mum. They are the most precious parents anyone can ever have. |
Machaon's Apprentice chapter 1 . 2/28/2015 I liked how this story was both sweet and sad - and offers a plausible view of the Fowls family's dynamics before the series. Congratulations ! |
Chiori chapter 1 . 2/19/2015 AWWWW That was adorable! I loved it! |
PhiTheGoldenRatio chapter 1 . 12/28/2013 I like this story but I have to say - it says Artemis has a respirator in. It's actually a ventilator and when a person is on it he or she can't speak. |
Phantom Ice chapter 1 . 11/21/2013 Awww, This a tally made me cry in the middle, which ussually only happens in horrible long term abandonment fics. To do it in a one-shot... well, that's impressive, but what's more angsty than a little boy striving for the love of his father? O.O *puppy eyes* |
Guest chapter 1 . 8/5/2013 It was super nice |
Artyluv39 chapter 1 . 6/27/2013 Don't worry, I think a lot of people aren't strangers to the neglecting father issue, I reckon Dads just don't pay attention to their children anymore(I too know this from personal experience). I really enjoyed your story, I like your writing style! Hoping to see more of your wonderful stories soon, Pao, your Mexican for every party! |
qwertyuiop17592385 chapter 1 . 8/25/2012 I thought this was very well done. :) |
fierysuzaku chapter 1 . 4/16/2012 This is truly a beautiful story. *sniffles* this story managed to yank out more than a few heartstrings in me… The emotions conveyed here are quite simple yet they are so raw and real that one can’t help but find themselves within the situation itself. The relationship between father and child was heart-wrenching. The father wanting to convey his emotions only to fail and simply ignoring them to the point of it becoming a habit… The child always striving to be acknowledged, forced to grow faster than it should be and ending up a bit twisted and cold… Great job! _ |
Minevera Elizabeth Juniper chapter 1 . 3/27/2011 This is an amazing oneshot. |
Ginny Minerva Dare chapter 1 . 3/27/2011 I loved it. And I know what you mean about the neglactive father isue. You did a great job of keeping the Fowl family in character. It was realistic and not to angsty. Great job. |
Seravia chapter 1 . 2/3/2011 That was so touching. You kept both Artemises in character very well. It's nice to see either of them show weakness. And seeing how Artemis felt before his father returned (something we don't get to see in the books) was quite refreshing. We can see how Artemis Senior became the more loving man he is now from the last part of your fic. However, I'm not sure Artemis Senior would've believed Artemis didn't need him after that hospital visit, and leave never to be found for at least a year. I feel like it'd be a wake up call to him, even if he doesn't show it. ~RHRF |
RideForeverO.o chapter 1 . 10/22/2010 Ohmygosh, I loved this. Dude, I wish this wasn't a one-shot. Lol, "Your Asian for every occasion". xD |
Musafreen chapter 1 . 8/22/2009 It was good. well-written, and whimsical in a good way. Characterization was very good. |
