Once again, welcome back! Ah another excellent chapter. I love your use of adjectives, it helps the story greatly. I also loved the last line, "It was forgotten that she existed at all." It sounds enchanting and yet foreboding. I look forward to chapter three.

It seems like you have a nice start. Asphodel seems like a very interesting character and Thyss isn't too bad either. It would be nice to see some action next chapter, but it was a great start to an intereting sounding story.
