Northanger Abbey is my favorite one, and I am enjoying this story that really does capture the modern portrayal of Kitty Morland.

Good start to the story! Northanger could definitely be a really interesting modernisation and there IS a shocking lack of NA fics on here! I like how you've transposed Kitty into the 20th century and would love to see your Henry Tilney! )

I like your version! and the Abbey book is possibly one of the only Austen novels I haven't managed to work my way through. Do you really need to have read it to appreciate your storyline? If so, I've got the copy on the shelf but at the moment am trying a new book about Frederick Wentworth- it's the other side of the Persuasion storyline- great read so far. Anyway, I was sorry to hear that you won't be updating for a bit- looking forward to the next chapter. :)

i love it! you're right, there are no northanger fics on here and might i say that you have set the bar brilliantly for all those that are wishing to do something a little more interesting than the typical p&p makeover (i love them to death, sure, but jane wrote some other beauties too!). kitty is perfect and i can't wait to see how you describe isabella and henry (oh, henry, how i love you!). please keep the updates coming fast!

I really enjoyed this. The writing is very mature, unlike many pieces you find here these days. I felt like I might actually be reading a book, not a half-assed attempt at a story. Good job! Please continue, I'm excited to see what you come up with!
