I'd come back to this book a thousand times a day if I could. The structure the characters emotions everything is just perfect. You truly made me fall in love with this book.

Sesshomaru is a selfish, abusive shit who always has to be in control. Kagome was naïve to get into a relationship with him when she was younger; now she would be a moron to go back to him. Everyone who treated Kagome like the scum of the earth, and went out of their way to ruin her life, now thinks they are entitled to her forgiveness because they mouthed an apology? I think I'll pass on the rest of this story where it's pretty clear she'll be manipulated into reconciling with the same ass who refused to listen to her and abandoned her and her child. You started out so well too and now it's just a Lifetime movie.

Yeah. No to all of this. This whole story, barring the part with Hojo and Kagome growing a spine, was something that didn't need to happen. I don't know why you have this fetish for making Kagome everyone's punching bag, but I don't care for it. Only thing I can congratulate you on is the fact that you completed this at all.

All I can say is, where do I begin?

Allow me to start off with what you've done GREAT. First and foremost Kagome has been through utter /Hell/ in this story and I sincerely mean that. There aren't many women who can go through being slandered, treated miserably and then lose their child all in one go without facing severe depression and likely post partum in the months following the children's births (and death in Keyana's case).

What you did amazing, even if it were off screen, was having Houjo built Kagome up into a powerful female figure that is feared even by Sesshoumaru. She's a force of maternal violence and one that isn't to be trifled with. However what you did so very wrong was caving into cheap demands and forcing Hojo to be homosexual merely for the sake of a plot device. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against homosexuality. I'm incorporating bits of such aspects into my own stories. However in this situation it's merely used as a mechanism to prevent Hojo from having sex with Kagome as that is somehow supposed to keep Kagome "sexually pure".

Allow me to restate that. You made a male character homosexual solely on the aspect of maintaining "sexual purity" in the eyes of the chosen male protagonist. There's nothing wrong with Kagome finding lover(s) in between relationships. In her case, her relationship with Hojo was far more concrete as she'd actually married the man. She loved him enough to marry him. To do that to them as characters in unspeakably cruel.

Worse yet was his death. It was cheaply done and, again, used only as a plot device. He is mentioned a few times and even brought up near the end, but ultimately Hojo means nothing in the grand scale of this story. He's just the "speed bump" between Kagome and Sesshoumaru luring her back into an abusive relationship.

Allow me to make this as clear as possible. Sesshoumaru, in nearly every one of your stories, is an Abuser. He takes from her. He talks down to her. He treats her as if she's a child that he can "punish". In this case he slandered her to anyone who would listen to him. Then he chased her out of town and into Hojo's arms.

Personally I find the plot would've been best suited as a Hojo/Kagome and have Sesshoumaru watch from afar as everything he'd ever loved was slowly taken from him by a man who'd treated Kagome 100X better than he ever could have hoped to.

Lets do a list of the horrible crimes Sesshoumaru committed against Kagome, shall we?

-He'd accused her of cheating and refused to listen to her like the man-child he was.
-He'd chased her out of town with his slander.
-He'd threatened to take her child away from her.
-He'd blamed her for the fact that he was the one who refused Tsukiko.
-He'd forced her into a room away from others, locked the door and held her against her will.
-He'd kidnapped her son. (I don't consider Tsukiko Sesshoumaru's since he abandoned the child).
-He'd led Kagome into getting into a very serious accident.
-He'd only caused her pain and suffering with the tactless revelation of her daughter's death during her healing process.

I can go on. But really, the sins are too great. I honest feel that I need a counter like the ones in CinemaSins just to keep up with these.

What I'm trying to get at here is that you start off strong. You make strong female leads, and then you have them roll over on their backs for the sake of "male worship". In this case, you went backwards by killing off Hojo and letting Sesshoumaru become the lead. I'm normally 50/50 on the Hojo/Kagome pairing but as this story is written out, he was the far better man for her as he'd made her a much stronger character over all and she was the most developed when she'd been with him.

Honestly, outside of that, I don't have much to say and that's rather sad. I enjoy writing long and immersive reviews for authors to take pride in. But in this case, I feel nothing but disappointment for all the characters.

3/10, writing itself wasnt bad but the content was awful, shouldve stayed as hojokag, making him gay just so they wouldnt fuck was stupid, hated sesshomaru in this fic, kikyo and shiori were baes, bankotsu and kouga need to learn when to back off and mind their own goddamn business, the amnesia miniplot was bullshit, you clearly have an issue with men that seeps into your writing that concerns me but also pisses me off from a reader standpoint since kagome bears the brunt of the trauma in your fics with only like one person being in her corner when it really counts, and i need to go look at akira fudo pics to remember what happiness feels like

Loved it. I enjoyed reading Hojo and Kagome's marriage/friendship. The way everything fell into place and the peace everyone was able to have at the end was really beautiful. Especially with how rough everything was in the beginning for each character. Amazing job :)

Okay this is a really good story but I cannot stop laughing I'm just imagining Jerry Springer or Murray I am laughing so hard

I literally cry in this chapter and the next chapter of course and all the following chapter.. hahahha.. This story is so good and it touched me emotionally.. I didn't think i will cry for a fanfiction story and yet I did.. Also I kind of not want Kagome to go back to Sesshomaru after all that she been through, the hurt and the betrayal she got.. I hope she end up with someone else but seeing how much sesshomaru too had suffered in losing Kagome and their child in the process.. I guess I can cope with that.. And definitely after those words on the headstone that I finally feel happy for kagome and sesshomaru together.. Besides, I love Kikyo in here, she is super protective of kagome.. :)

Ohmygoodness~ I can't tell how much I love this story ! ! ! This is definitely not your average sesshkag fanfiction..This is a story full emotion and conflict.. it has included love with such freshness, hate, friendship, loss, power hunger, and HOPE.. Worth reading it ! I love how you put all the character together.. It felt so natural.. You are an incredible writer ! Love your work ! D

Well. The story was interesting until this chapter. It was very soap opera and dramatic in a jr. high school way which is always fun to read. But the way Sesshomaru acts makes me hate him. I'm a hardcore Sessh/Kag shipper and I want this one to end with her kicking his ass to the curb. He can crawl back to Ayame for all I care at this point. And Goshinki needs to be fired ASAP. He's horrible. I have a feeling that this story ends with Kagome and Sesshomaru "in love" and Goshinki forgiven for being the worst person in the world.
