First off, I just want to say...WOW. I know this fic is a short one, but the impact it makes is stunning. You have Toya's thoughts absolutely spot-on, and CLAMP themselves probably wouldn't be able to pick a flaw in your characterisation or narrative structure. And the last line is just the cherry on the cake- I love it.

Beautiful. This is probably the best version of how they met that I've read on this site. "Like a sword inside a sheath, Touya had thought dazedly when the other two- one- had introduced himself in front of the class." is probably my favourite line here. I liked the comparison of Yue and Yukito, and the way it was written. Yue asleep within Yukito is an image I've never read, but it feels appropriate for the tone of this fic - almost expectant, somehow, more a foreshadowing than a story in itself. The prologue to something else. Which, of course, is exactly what this is. This is going in the TYY C2 for sure. You made my day!
