   NemoChan320 chapter 19 . 2/23/2019 I appreciate this fic so very much, the way you told it, the in depth look at the psychological aspects of having to endure such atrocities, and coping with it both during and after, getting a look at this vital piece of history through characters we know and love, and shedding light on what they/everyone had to go through. A look at the people who were not as 'lucky' as Charles and Erik, who had slipped into a madness and away from this world because there is just nothing left, nothing more can be taken from them. And just the immense love and sheer codependency Charles and Erik have for one another and how they have helped each other survive and get through all of this and couldn't have made it without the other. Just this fic sent me through an emotional whirlwind and I so very much look forward to reading this sequel and how they continue to survive and live on after what has happened to them and the threats they unfortunately still face in this world. |

| ArcanePracti-cat chapter 19 . 7/16/2014 Heh, the historical part wasn't that bad actually. But I'm no history expert... Yea, the holocaust's victims weren't only Jews, contrary to popular belief. Bigoted, hateful people are just... I don't know. disgusting. Gahhhhhh. I agree with you about that last bit on people finding love in terrible situations. What sucks though, is when the situation is so terrible that love just can't happen- that's when you know you're just screwed. |
