Reviews for Battle of the Verses
Salovi chapter 1 . 6/29
Ok but I love haiku! Haha thanks for this
Spirit Seer chapter 1 . 11/19/2018
Haha, this was really cute. :) It's too bad we never saw a reprise of the haiku battles in the show.

Very lovely work! (And I understand you thinking in Haiku afterwards. Poetic rhythms get stuck in your head after working with them for a while.)

Epic Haiku battle!
Percabethgirl2645 chapter 1 . 1/11/2014

Guest chapter 1 . 11/26/2013
Lol! The horror of thinking in haiku! I stink at writing it!

"Wildly beating heart,

Breathing strange, irregular.

I see what you feel."

Wildly is 3216 that's the only mess up I could find, so wonderful! Perhaps change wildly to wild
dreamkj chapter 1 . 4/4/2013

laelruin chapter 1 . 4/6/2011
Very interesting. I don't know how to think or speak in haiku, but with a little time and practice, perhaps I can master this.

Thanks so much for the interesting story. I really enjoyed it and I hope to see more of the fun but serious Sokka and Toph talking to each other.

Thanks again,

Ruin

victorionious chapter 1 . 6/7/2010
Yeah, that sounds awful!

Oh, no. No! Not me as well!

Haikus are so mean. :(

This story is good

By good I mean astounding!

Funny and quite cute!

Tokka is the best!

Better than even Kataang!

No... wait... Kataang rules.

That was very hard!

Haikus are not as easy

As many would think!

You did a great job

Hope my review is enjoyed

Invaderk, you rock!

The last is pronounced

Inva-derk, not the right way

Right, Invader Kay?
tsujigiri chapter 1 . 5/26/2010
A work of sheer genius - I loved the Sokka section in Ba Sing Se too. My response was to try to speak to all my shop's customers in haiku...

But you said 'After writing this, I began thinking in Haiku. The horror!' I think you mean;

'After writing this

I thought mostly in haiku

The horror, the pain'

Else, to quote the show 'thats one too many syllables there bub' [high speed eviction...]
