It connects him with Bombay whom we see realizes who Reilly is in the movie. Adam and Bombay really are two characters who have a lot in common and i think your story hits on that aspect.

An excellent tale that does a great job of depciting the thoughts and feelings of my favorite Duck. Wonderful job! I couldn't help wincing, though, when Adam thought that the Ducks wouldn't turn on him if he separated from them.
