Hey man, I've reviewed this story as a guest before, but now I have an account and I'm back for another reread! I love the intensity of Link's personality in this story and how he's not the 100% perfect hero. He's got his own motives and imperfections and concerns, and that makes him kinda dangerous. That dynamic makes the story really compelling, especially because we only get the story that's between the lines you've written.

Midna is almost more reliable as a rational and hero-type character compared to your Link. And yet the relationship between the two of them is so volatile, so forbidden, so interesting, you can't help but just get sucked into their story.

This story was absolutely breathtaking. I'm fascinated by the way you wrote Link- so raw and changed by his adventure. But honestly it's the language that is so spot on, so pared down to small sentences and phases that pack such a punch.

This is definitely a new favorite, and I am very much looking forward to reading the other parts.

You write so powerfully. Play some fitting music in the background, and you can empathize with Link, and what he's going through, even though you're not there.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story, especially finding it with it completed. But I must admit I am much saddened by the ending. It's so inconclusive to me... but you're the writer of this one and what you say goes... If you ever wanted though, on some passing fancy, to make a sequel, I'd be waiting patiently/eagerly to read it.
