You write really well! I've been unable to stay interested in reading lately (not like I used to) but this has kept my attention!

This is just bad and overall disappointing. Not only you make several characters completely OOC (like Sokka who for some reason is an annoying numbskull and Katara being a conformist and totally ok with being treated like a 'thing' by the men on her tribe - did you even watch ATLA?), but there's also ridiculous decisions taken with no good reason at all, like killing Toph and Aang (the avatar. lol).

If you're looking for a half-decent multiple-story fic, don't waste your time on this if you're older than 12. How this got so many reviews, I have no fucking idea.

A few concerns:

- Katara drowns two ships full of people and she doesn't feel any pangs of regret? No discussion over the fact that she probably killed more people in those two minutes than anyone else in the group probably ever will?

- Douglas? Calder!? These are *not* names that fit in the Avatar universe at all. They completely break immersion. Have you noticed a certain theme amongst names in Avatar?

Ignore you won't take over this story I'd like to. I've never written on this before but I'd love to try. I do have some of my own ideas but if you want to continue writing and finish it I'll be elated. Or you can give me some of the ideas you have for this story too. I'd only had about 1-3 more chapters in mind.

I can't tell you how much I love this story. Beautifully written from the the pace and the general feel, I love how you perfectly portrayed the characters and their reactions it's so amazing and I haven't even finished it yet. This has made me love the series even more, the build up is just perfect, the beginning almost humored and light but you managed to bring me to tears on more than one occasion in your story. This chapter especially. I have always loved Sokka, mostly because he knows how to make me giggle (and is secretly a genius) but you have truly and honestly made me fall in love with him tonight, I cried like a baby thru that whole seen with Suki. I had never really given this pair much thought both in series and Fanfiction and I just have to say, it took my breathe away. It gave me a whole new beautiful spectrum of Sokka, Suki too. I also have to mention Azula and her little gang I have never been a fan of but this is also something you have somehow made me rethink, especially Mai, ever bored and generally uninteresting but in this story you put her into a different light. The friendship she has with Azula and the pink one is actually beautiful, if a little twisted and it honestly put some serious realism even into the series itself to me. I just had to let you know. I generally don't like writing reviews, I just like to read, rude I know but this was something I had to put down in writing. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

I've noticed there are little spelling and grammar errors. And tbh I don't think katara and zuko would use nicknames for each other. It's okay little OOC

I actually read this quite a while ago, but whenever I'm in the mood to read zutara fanfiction I find myself back to this story. This was by far the most entertaining fanfiction I have read of this topic. But there was something I thought that could have been written better; Zuko's characterization. I felt he would have not opened up and been friendly to Katara that early on in the story. Zuko was always a naturally closed off, and awkward person. Other than that, this fanfiction is an excellent story. Everytime I read both Eclipse and the sequel I feel both melancholy and emptiness because the story is over. I really cannot put into words of how much this fanfictonight made me feel.

Not sure if you'll see this comment or respond to it, but I first read this story years ago (maybe in 2009? holy cow...) anyway, I read this story and I was so impressed by your writing. I'm by no means a great writer, but I'm also not easily impressed either. I love the feeling of finding an exceptional story written by someone just as enamored with a series as I am and because I'm a creature of habit and love familiarity, I'll often go back and reread the same stories over and over because they're just that good and it's also sometimes very hard to find a good story to get into. However, Eclipse and Verehda are two stories that I just can't bring myself to reread. Your stories have haunted me for years (in a good way of course.) Everything from the character development to the idea that maybe, just maybe, the good guys won't win has completely won me over. When we reread things we have less of the anticipation of the unknown that comes with every page turn, but more of an eagerness to get through the parts we didn't like the first time around and relive the parts we loved. However, I can't bring myself to reread your stories (even after all this time) because the emotions I felt the first time are still very much present. There are no bad parts to rush through and no good parts to look forward to. It's all raw feeling all over again. I try very hard not to compare myself to other writers but when I'm writing a story, I can't help but wonder if my words will leave an impact as strong as yours have left on me. You have a gift. Thank you for sharing it.

I love what you have done with this story. Its amazing. I am looking forward to the awkwardness that should ensue with Haru, Jet, Beno AND Zuko all together. You have really brought this story to life and made the characters so real.
