To be truthful, when I first started watching the series I had a hard time liking Rose. Watching the series again, I started liking her a little better... but to be quite truthful, this fan-fic made me start to love her. Its raw and emotional and beautiful, and it shows how life just sort of rubs away at you until the memories are all you have left to hold on to... and I LOVED that ending. It shows what made Rose Human. No, its not particularly romantic, but what in life is?

I can't speak for anyone else... Maybe others don't like this because they are in love with Rose themselves, or at least in love with the idea of her. For me, this was a magnificent piece... and I loved your writing voice as well. Well done!

slight hiccup. season 4 with donna noble. the episode journey's end has a very different ending for rose tyler. due to the human timelord meta crisis, a half human-half timelord emerges. he ages like a normal human. he'll grow old and never regenerate. At Bad Wolf Bay in Norway, the half human Doctor whispers in her ear the answer she had been seeking. Afterwards she kisses the half human Doctor. They stay together in the parallel world. Therefore your ending was too depressing. Rose Tyler finally got her man, the man that swept her off her feet and carried her to the stars. :)
