This was amazingly written, yet short enough to read in one setting. You captured Severus perfectly; Summer wasn't a Mary-Sue. It was funny, romantic, sad, angsty; everything I look for in a good story. So great, no AMAZING job. Thank you for writing it. :)

ignore everything I just said. I've finished reading and I find that the story was absolutely wonderful (especially the ending! McGonnagal and Dumbledore are two of my fav. characters. That dress was just icing on the cake)

been reading this snape series, and... I don't know what to say.

It's like I'm both disgusted and pleased at the same time.

The second I open my mouth I want to squee and retch as one. It's uncomfortable and awkward, yet it's smooth and has a good protagonist. I love the setting and the idea of the plot...

BUT WHY?

It's so disrupting. The way Snape can be so in character and then jump right out of it! o

It's confusing and startling.

I can't think of any other way to say it...

I'm sorry. I don't mean to sound so terribly confusing, it's just that I myself am confused and there-fore it comes out through my message. It's just...

Rhgh! I don't know!

The Author is a fantastic writter.

You've done what every writter has set out to do, you got me (the reader) hooked!

I can't stop reading!

Even though I KNOW something awkward or the like will happen.

It's so odd imagining Snape having any friend like relationship with anyone other than MAYBE Lily... Much less a girl he has had little contact with before she asked to help with some potions, and Much MUCH less a romantic student teacher relationship. (Though I know I've wished the opposite every now and then *swoon*)

But I digress..

I was ensnared at the beginning.

I am a big fan of Snape in the books, and so I was overjoyed to finally be able to read a decent story about a character so similar to him. I love rich, developed characters.

I like how Summer is so much easier to relate to than Snape, because she's more than just an enigma, or a mystery girl.

SO GOOD JOB! -

But I still want to point out that you need to make Snape a little more...cold and tempermental. A little more Mysterious (but not too much so) and a bit moreserious(about everything).

Also there is still one MAJOR thing that bothers me:

How is he not reminded of Lily every time he looks at Summer?

I'm only on ch. 6 and it may have shown up already in later chapters I haven't reached yet, but still.

Please try to fix that.

I know as a fangirl myself that at times you just want to take a croquet mallet and just knock Lilly out of the picture, but you can't really take her out completely. Lilly is a MAJOR part of Snape's character, and that will never change in my opinion.

Aww! Such a sweet ending. Thank you so much for finally updating (sorry it took so long for me to notice ). Wonderful story. It took me a long time to like Summer, simply because I didn't like how opposite her name and nature seemed at first to be against Sevvy's. But you did a great job at proving me wrong and I'm glad I stuck with it. Hope to read more from you!

TIt took me a few chapters to get into the story, but I am glad I gave it a chance. It always starts slow with OCs because you have to learn their character, so don't worry, I'm not dissing you.

I Like the humor, and how Snape seems to remain IC. Most teenage girls go through an angst-y period, so I didn't mind her irrational behavior in the middle of the story, especially because you didn't draw it out to make her annoying. It was just enough to make Snape realize he cared for her. Well done.

Oh, and I also love how Harry Potter was never mentioned in your story. I am very guilty of having my OC's interact with Harry and Hermione and the lot, so I totally have to give you credit for creating a story with basically three characters and an OC, that amazes me. Keep up the good work.

This story really cheered me up today, so thank you for that. I'm not one to usually read Snape/OC fics, but Summer is a very well-written character and fits nicely with our Snape.

And I loved the ending, even as cheesy as it could be called. I happen to love cheesy, happy endings.

Aww, so sweet. Although, the wedding at the end was cheesy, but necessary.

I really didn't think I would, but I loved Summer's character. I was really thrown off by the name, but I stuck with it for the plot and the smexy Sevvy-ness, and it was worth it. She turned out to be a wonderful and original character. Thank you so much for finishing the story. I hope to read another SSOC from you.

excellent story- i found myself smiling at the smug moments of snapeyness and still rooting for the heroine in the end sometimes stories like these come off as too sappy, or too preachy. this story was neither. you are able to identify with both characters, which sometimes is hard in original character stories.
