You know what the best part of this is? The way you wrote it, it could have happened at any point, any time in the canonical plot. It's simplistically beautiful and well-written. The short sentences and limited but satisfying use of descriptors keep up with the mystique mood. It's one of those fics that I will definitely come back and read once in a while.
