Oh my goodness what a plot twist omg omg omg that's so in character for Zuko but it doesn't mean I have to like it any more... him carving the apology into the ice was a GREAT idea. So creative! And wonderful. Amazing work! I definitely see why this is the best Zue oneshot in the fandom

Zuko/Yue is one of my favorite crack ships, and you write it very well. In addition to Zuko becoming a rebel and fighting both the Water Tribe and the Fire Nation. But their friendship is sweet, even if their possible romance makes it a little bit bitter.

Very sad... tragic all the more because I can picture it happening. No matter what else could be said about him, Zuko was always loyal to his country's people.

This was really cute. It wasn't all mushy, but sweet and made a deeper point. :D I really liked reading this!

The Good: well written, no grammar errors that I noticed offhand, and an interesting premise.

The Better: Zuko and Yue! both in character and not feeling horribly contrived- pure win. I also like how you managed to show both of their thoughts without it seeming awkward. kudos!

The sad: so short! but it works well. Just the heart of a story, without any excess.

All together: excellent, and thank you for sharing!

Very nice. A compelling picture of a world that might have come to pass had things been different. Good drama, and the characters are very much in-character, although also changed by their different experiences. A riveting read.

I loved the plot and Yue's character was captured perfectly. I only wish there were more fics with the Zue pairing...

Wow... I really do like this. The idea of it intruiges me, and I like the way you ended it, although it really pained me. I don't want to see someone like Yue being hurt by anyone, especially Zuko. Who, as you've shown, has so much hurt in his own life as well.

But I suppose it's just a fantasy that this would have ever worked out.

Anyways, great job, you've motivated me to read moreof your stories.

Ever since I finished season 1, the idea of Zuko/Yue always intrigued me...

(Double points for including Blue Spirit/dual sword elements, those are some of my universal favorite Zuko traits.)
