Angelus 408 chapter 7 . 10/25/2017
I wish I understood why Caleb loves Dean so much, and from this story, much more than he deserved, but that's how love works, isn't it. Like I don't know why my husband loves me, I've given him nothing but grief. Yet he is my Dragon, and my friend.
I feel so bad for John. He's gotten the worst of it.
I can't wait to read 'Phoenix.
But by the tears rolling down my face. I know I can't handle another one tonight
Thanks.

Rebegirl chapter 1 . 3/24/2017
I can't tell you how many times I have reread the bath scene. It is one of my absolute favorites. Then, of course, i get sucked into the story and read it over again.
I hope you come back to the brotherhood soon. Since you are the only one writing Brotherhood stories, we can't get it anywhere else. I feel like my favorite show has been canceled right in the middle of a two parter. But, I know what it is like when you are just not feeling it.
I am particularly a fan of your weechester stuff. So amazing! Come back soon.

Semperforever chapter 7 . 8/5/2013
Your writing is amazing. Seriously. I've read this story 2 times now and each time I ended up having tears in my eyes. I love the Brotherhood...I wish it was encorporated into the show! Keep writing!
Wayward Dragon chapter 1 . 5/30/2013
Can I just say how much I really, really REALLY love the fact that you named the dogs after To Kill a Mockingbird? That's just epic!
keeum chapter 7 . 6/6/2012
I started at the bottom of your page reading all your stories. I love the way you write the characters. I can feel all the emotions they are feeling. However, I am not happy right now as I just cried my way through the last two chapters of In The Company of Dragons. I may have needed a good cry, but I wasn't ready for it.

Your stories are the best I have ever read so far. Thank you for writing and sharing them. You are awesome.

Sincerely, kim chappell

Voldemort- Coolest Badguy EVER chapter 7 . 4/11/2010
Here we are at the end of the most emotionally powerful story in The Brotherhood series to date. I think "mental anguish" sums it up nicely. 8)

Dean's story in the first scene was completely heart-breaking; by the time his tale was done, I had to leave the computer to grab a tissue real quick. Yes, I am that emotional of a person. Tis my curse.

You really got into the thick of the emotion with Sammy's scene, bidding everyone farewell. Oddly enough, while Mac, Jim, Caleb and John were all tugging at my heartstring with their goodbyes, one of the saddest moments for me in that scene was the image of Joshua waving. Something about Josh, the stone-cold hunter with no close relationship to the Winchsters, waving to little Sammy as he left, really got to me... I am a strange one. 8)

And if that wasn't all depressing enough, we had Dean's terrible question: "What's wrong with me?" I'm sure I'm not the only one to have tears in my eyes when reading that line, right?

Well, that's all for me for now. I'll return later to read and review "Phoenix", and get over all the angst that I've found here. 8)

Voldemort- Coolest Badguy EVER chapter 6 . 4/11/2010
This would have to be one of the most emotionally charged chapters I've read. Every single line seemed to tug at the heartstrings - the dialogue, the imagery and the ideas all near broke my heart. 8(

The chapter started off cutely, with Pastor Jim (who always seems able to lighten the mood, or bring you to tears, depending on what he feels like doing) and the boys, but from there it all went on a downward emotional slope, with intense writing and powerful emotions.

Caleb and Dean's scene was terribly sad, particularly this part:

"You weren't much help anyway." Dean lashed out; getting the response he was looking for. But somehow seeing pain and misplaced guilt race through the older man's eyes didn't make him feel better. Instead, it made his eyes start to sting once more. "You said I could trust you."

But, even more depressing was Dean's scene with his father; with a vulnerable Dean and John displaying rarely seen emotions, it made for an awfully sad moment.

It would have to be a cold-hearted person who could read the line "You're going to have to let your brother go, son. Conner will be here this afternoon" without feeling the angst of the moment.

This was truly a beautiful, touching chapter. It's no wonder why "In The Company Of Dragons" has over 400 reviews. 8)
