Personally, I don't think it's quite silly or ridiculous enough to qualify as crackfic. It is fun, though, and I'm glad to have stumbled on it.

It was cute and I like the idea of Methos and Jack meeting across time, and the confusion therein.

My only concrit would be Jack's comment that "this isn't your style" since Jack doesn't know anything about Methos except that he's long-lived. In the scenes you describe they never had a chance to talk or even say anything significant, so how would Jack know what Methos was capable of?

Anyway, cute fic! I would wish for more Methos/Doctor Who fics out there.

You know, I think I like the third time the best. Because Methos had read H.G. Wells by that point, recognized what a gun was, and for the line /“Michael…” Methos's voice drifted off as everything clicked into place. “Bugger.”/
