This story is absolutely awesome!

Just reread your fic. It hits me every time I read it like a punch in the gut. Just wow. So good.

I know this is an old story but I still just wanted to say I think it is wonderful.

Instead of a businessman, Miko wanted to marry a scientist or a scholar, and she would be well educated and share that with him, so that he would never be bored with her or visit with prostitutes and read manga on the train ride into work. Her extraordinary mind took Miko from Tokyo to America, then to Antarctica and Atlantis, where she had met the Doctor.

Wow. Miko's devotion and her will to do what Rodney told her-at the risk of her sanity-just has me in floored, open jawed awe.

Her determination to do as asked/told to save her real Doctor, and the regret, shock, her whole emotional state of having to hurt 'him' over and over and over and the ending...wow. After all that, and seeing how he tries to do right by her for puting her in this situation, she still loves him. That is deep. Powerful and what makes this unforgetable.

I have this folder where I copy and paste fics I really, REALLY like just so I can re-read them on a USB stick. This story stands out so much that I'm now going to put this in there. No worries, the story is yours and I have the title of the story as well as the author there so I always know who it was that wrote the story.

I also have to go to your profile and see what other stories you have. If this is just one sample I want to read the others.

I was so surprised and glad to find this story on ff-dot-net! I'd read it elsewhere, but I'm always looking for worthy stuff to go on my C2 here. And this certainly is an amazing story - unflinching and scary and complex. Thank-you for writing it!

Oh god, that was...That was just beautiful...! I think you may have just turned me into a bit of a MikoxMcKay shipper. I mean, god I felt so bad for her! I wanted Rodney to just grab her and give her a big kiss for being so amazing, seriously, it would have been a nice reward for her! Give her *something*! This is amazing, this was written amazingly, I love it!
