This was amazing! I loved the plot twist that it was Jarod's family, not Parker's, who were ultimately responsible for his abduction. Now they are equals in all things. Parker is not as guilty by association as she once believed while Jarod is no longer as innocent. With that knowledge, they can build something true and lasting. They can finally move on from their torturous pasts. They can finally heal. They can finally be at peace with themselves, with each other, and with their undeniable connection. They can be happy, and that makes me happy!

I also loved that you gave the final heroic moment to Sydney. That he finally stepped up and acknowledged what everyone already knew. That it was never just a job. That his scientific curiosity, clinical detachment, and adherence to the guidelines of medical and psychiatric propriety were not enough to stem the tide of human bonding. Deny it as he might, fight it as he used to, run from it as he did for far too long. Jarod is his son. His boy. The essence of his purpose as a man. The center, if you will, of his heart and soul. The one person he is willing to throw it all away for. Him being the one to pull Jarod out of the claws of despondency after his breakdown rampage was the perfect culmination of their story. Thank you so much for that!

Again, this story was amazing. It'll live on in my imagination for long, long time.

this is so unelievably good, i wasnt able to stop reading during the most chapters. so im sorry for not reviewing the other chapters, but it was simply too thrilling, too exciting... i love every singöe part of this story! its absolutely amazing. thank you so much!
