I really loved this! I can totally see Darcy as Darcë, and the other characters were well written as well. Darcë’s declaration of love at the end was beautiful, and so was Elizabeth’s acceptance of him. Saving Lydia was awesome. Loved the familiar characters like Glorfindel etc. Thank you for this lovely combination of my two favorite tales. :)

nice adaptation. there was a mistake however: Darce is a pure elf and he wouldn't lose his immortality by marrying a woman. Only half-elves have to choose between the two races

what a strange crossover. I think you did this quite well. Pnp in a LOTR setting, although there were no major LOTR character appearances I don't necessarily think that was a bad thing. However I do have doubts that a temperament like Darcy's or LBs would be happy to sit by the ocean while the war rages on. Maybe room for a sequel? Either way keep writing!

A thoughtful ending I must say, even though they ended up eloping. But I find it hard to accept inter-racial marriages to be so contemptible, for the hobbit or human community would it not be acceptable to tue extent that one of their own had married above their status. Likewise, I cannot imagine the elves in LOTR middle earth to have contempt for half elves who are their own kin, especially when they are so built to be wiser and holier than thou.

however, i liked your story very much, and i consider it to be a pleasure to have read every bit of it. Thank you so much for sharing your talent.
