I had to reread the thing with the appendix about five times until I finally scrolled up and read that this was actually a parody. xD That is so awesome first it's totally serious and in the end Ed sacrifices his ear wax... lol

LOL, you awful person, I thought this was going to be a serious angsty one and then BOOM, earwax. I'm glad I didn't see the "parody" categorization before I started reading, that was a fun ride.

Oh I lol'd. I lol'd a lot. I love how it starts out so bleak, and serious, and I double-checked the theme and thought, "Parody? Huh?"

Then got to that one paragraph... and re-read "Appendix" about seven times. Like, "... What... the...?"
