I can assure you, that there is no snow in July in Ekaterinburg and Omsk, and please, Russia is not snow and farmers, and most of it not tundra either. And we don't have bears walking on the streets, not now, and not then. I really love your story and your writing. I guess, I always imagined that Kurando saved Anastasia and they lived happily ever after, so thank you for creating this story (and with very high quality of writing)

Just one thing. Correct shortening of Anastasia is Nastya, not Natsya. Well, maybe non-correct way of pronouncing was intentional, I'm not that good at Romanov history.

And I have to admit, that shvibzik is very very rare word, I don't think that I ever heard it before (and as you've probably understood, Russian is my mother language) As a matter of fact, I'm not even sure that the word officially exist in Russian vocabulary.

This was an amazing story! I've started playing Shadow Hearts Covenant again and I love these two together! I just found out there was a 3rd Shadow Hearts, so now I know what I want for Christmas. P I'm so happy I found such a well-written fanfic about them! Thank you for such a wonderful piece. They're in character, the story is plausible and realistic and your writing style is just beautiful. I hope there are other fanfics out there as good as yours.

Absolutely LOVELY AU. It made me very happy since I shipped Kurando and Anastasia hard in Shadow Hearts 2 but wondered about what would happen after since Anastasia, historically, "died."

Very nicely in character and interestingly true to history, as far as the Romanov family. Very nice. Please write more if you're so inclined. _

I love this story, I love it when people write about there being a survivor. Also, thought I should mention, the dowager did not actually go to Paris. She went to London and then returned to her home country of Denmark where she stayed until her death in 1928. I'm not sure, but I think it also might be possible that she was never informed of the murder of her son and his family, I've read several pieces about Anna Anderson and some of them mention that she was never introduced to the Dowager because she was under the impression her family has survived.

I confess, I don't know much about the "Shadow Hearts" game, but I loved reading this story and your version of the inprisonment at Yekaterinburg from Anastasis point of view! Especially since it gives us a happier ending then reality!

Oh my gosh that was so good! I'm a huge fan of Anastasia/Kurando, and I'm so happy to find a high quality fanfic for them. And I absolutely loved the ending. Happy endings are my favorite. Great job!

Well, I'm reading this a little over a year since it's been done. It's wonderful. I remember how depressed I was when in the credits you see Anastasia and Kurando on a dock or something and my friend is like, "well, now you know why she survived". Cause all was not as happy as the game made it out to be. But this was beautiful, one of those, "if only" things. I'm reading this with the information that they recently are pretty sure they found the missing bodies that were cremated...Much nicer to think that they ran away to Japan and lived nice long lives. But yea, this was absolutely beautiful. Thank you!

Kurando and Anastasia were my favorite couple in SH:C. (Though, I'm quite the rabid Alice and Yuri fan). They just seemed to fit so well.

They're gonna have babies! . I'm so happy for them. The baby is gonna look so exotic, wow. Undoubtedly, a very, very happy occurence! To keep with the theme of the fic, though, I wonder how the people in the village took the news that their soon-to-be leader wedded a foreigner. And a mixed baby? Aiya. But I shall choose to think that the villagers are decent people who actually see others for who they are rather than what they are and will be happy for the couple as well.

Thank you for the happy ending! Somehow, these days it feels like a happy ending is a crime, since obvious it's not always gonna happen. But for goodness' sake, people, not everything turns out woe and begone! True, it can't always be happy, but it's in human nature to make the best out of a situation, or if they can't, they try to get out of it, or at the least, convince themselves that it's actually not that bad after all. It's impossible to be on an extreme low all the time, psychology has proven it. There must be recognition, then a build-up, then climax, then resolution, etc. etc. *rants away* Sorry, I just had my Psychology exam a few days ago so right now, facts are still running jumbily humbily around in my poor head. Did I mention that I hate that psychology class? No? Never mind. -_-;;

How much taller is Kurando than Ana anyway? I mean, at the current timeline according to this fic. A head? Head and a half? Dear God, two? 'Cuz, you know, that'd be really awkward. :D Being very small myself, I can completely sympathize with Ana. But methinks that it makes guys more protective. Well, we know that Kurando can possibly go possessive, in his case. Ah, Kurando, the man who won't ever appear in my world. Ever.

Alexie and Yoshiko just can't escape the predatory eyes of... the matchmaker! Muwahahahahah! But seriously, I think they'd be cute. Actually, now that I think about it, it might be kind of hard for them. He comes with a load of emotional baggage, and god forbid if a man ever breaks down in front of a mere female. *rolls eyes* My impression of her is of a pure and very young girl. I hope she'd be able to handle it. At least Blanca would be there to provide comic relief. *grins* Nothing better than sneaking behind a guardian's back for the forbidden fruit, eh? *winks winks* Hey, if Blanca doesn't know what naughty is then he's sure going to learn fast. *waggles eyebrows* Oh, I'm having too much fun with this, heheheh.
