This is such a cute story! And incredibly well-written too. I often wondered about sesshomaru's love and the first name to come in my mind was kikyo. Though it was not quite possible in inuyasha-verse since I believe kikyo was a very loyal person. This is a perfect one, set in AU but not changing their personalities. And I could relate to kikyo in the story minus those good looks and sesshomaru of course. You know, the usual smart, bookworm type girls are shown to have little social life. And at other end of spectrum, these girls have it all, smarts, looks, unicorn world, eery guy is after her. There are others(like me) who are loners without being completely an outcast or mute. Anyway, I am sorry this is getting quite long and I am going oof topic but I just wanted to tell you how sweet this story was. That Tsubaki part was really not too dif. from inuyasha world!

Nicely done for the most part, especially for a high school fic. A minor complaint about when he first approached Kikyou though - him staring at the ground when talking to her. You already set him up as extremely proud, even to the point of being self-centered, when he referred to himself in the third person in his thoughts. So, it removed me from the story a little when he refused to make eye contact and acted more like a child who got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

First off, I apologize for bombarding you with reviews for the past few days.

I normally avoid high school themed fics like this, but I really enjoyed this one. The way you mixed normal, everyday life (and hardships) with fantasy characters was very nicely done. I also liked the pace in which you took the development of the relationship between Sesshoumaru and Kikyou, it was very real and not forced at all.

It...Was...AWESOME! I loved it, It was so sweet! Squee! I'm a huge Sess x Kik fan, and am trying to write a fanfic, But I'm very new to it, and everytime i try, I throw it away, delete it or tear it up. It'll be long before I have a fanfic up.
