amusing... O_O

yeah, amusing. this story is just simply amusing. I loved it so much!

the descriptions were really good and rich, the characters were pretty IC, and the thing that made me fell for this fic the most was the story - it was pretty canon and felt just like watching the 'real' sequel for the movie! ;) I loved to read stories that could create the same 'feel' with the real movie/book/game! heh heh.

and, wow, it's amazing that you made all of the Radiator Springs' villagers to show up in the story. and like what I stated earlier, they were really IC! ...I-I completely adored the fact. it was... amazing.

sometimes, too many characters in a oneshot could somehow become a trouble to the plot. but, not in your story! :D I think how the characters showed up was pretty natural! it's uneasy to do that, I think.

oh, there were some opinions that I wanted to state. and since my writing skill and English was pretty bad, I hope you'll forgive and correct me if I'm wrong. ;)

these lines:

- "Old memories aren't "nothing important." I think there's something you're not telling us." / umm, I think the usage of the quotation mark for 'nothing important' was a bit confusing. well, not that confusing, actually... it's because when I read the sentence, I felt like the dialogue was only until the word 'important', until I see another quotation mark. heh. my suggestion is to use apostrophe instead. :)

- It was then that he noticed one more light on on the empty street / it seemed that there's a typo in this sentence. ;) can you spot it?

- Ford Granddaughter Says Yes / eh? I thought Cassy should be Ford's great-granddaughter. O_O well, I think it'll be too long to add the word 'great' there. hmph... and I think the word "Ford's" suit the sentence more than "Ford". just my opinion. sorry if I'm wrong! DX

overall, this is really good. there's just too much things that made me love this fic. heh. I can really imagine the way all of the characters spoke their dialogue - the characters' voice, their expression when speaking, and their accents! XD

also, I loved the fact about Cassy. oh, young Doc was about to marry her and she died. ;_; actually, I never imagined how a car would die in Cars universe, except of exploding. but, your fic had brought a brand new side that could be found by an enermous imagination! how Cassy died was pretty smart! and Doc's flashback was pretty believeable. XO especially when Lightning asked if the reason he called those people was because of his bad experience in the past. "history makes men wise"... I think I'm one level higher to understand the meaning of that quote after reading this fic. thank you so much~ X)

liked the ending too! it was pretty nice; because you don't make Doc felt better after telling the story to Lightning. that, for me, represented that Doc still could not forget Cassy, also it seemed to be a nice and unique plot.

That was sweet.. in a good way. I'm glad you put that Lightning kept that secret. Not many have written him like that, and that doesn't make sense for he's changed now. Very good.

This was very well-written. I adore Doc Hudson's character and I love how you explained why he called the media on Lightning McQueen, why he tends to go off by himself, and why he has walls up. You captured the other characters' personalities really well too. I can hear the character's voices, and the way you wrote the dialogue matches their speech patterns. I like that you showed there was more to Doc's crash. Very good fic and an enjoyable read. Great job!

Excellent! The characters are done very well, they seem almost taken out from the movie, though the new explanation for the crash gives a new tinge to the whole thing.

Very nice. Doc Hudson is a great character, and all the car-like references (Ford, Chrysler, etc.)are very nice.

I thought that was really powerful, and really cool that Doc chose to confide in Lightning. I also thought it was neat meeting the young Hudson Hornet; he was so much less sure of himself than Doc is now.

Wow. Poor Doc. To have his future wife killed and find out about it just as he was starting the Piston cup. This fic made me tear up a bit. I want to congratulate you on writing the first ever Cars fanfic. I loved that movie! I saw it opning weekend and laughed my head of during the entire movie. Keep up the amazing work!

great story! this is an excellent reason to explain Doc's crash. Again very wonderfully written; i could hear the character's voices in my head as I read the words!
