The blinking sequence had to be my favorite part although I think you did a great job at building Sesshoumaru's thoughts to its end in a truncated amount of time (if we're going to ignore the whole baggage of his misanthropy which would have required a whole other length). Rin's reactions to the pretty trinkets really caught my eye because it was so on point and Sesshoumaru's observant nature towards her words was very like him. The kiss, however, did seem to come out of nowhere even though I knew the story was building up to some sort of romantic tinted gesture. Instead of just a tint though, it felt like a sharp jump from the whole 'realizing she's precious to him' to boom-a liplock. But other than that, I thought everything else was well-done. The sun and moon metaphor is definitely true of these two.
