I recently rewatched the Matrix trilogy and i fell in love with the movies again so i wanted to read some matrix fanfics for the first time and oh boy i was not disappointed. this fic was amazing, so emotional and good. I had to read it in one go. Thank you for writing this.

I absolutely love Niobe's lines in this chapter, from the "complete double act" line to Morpheus seeing her "as some sort of cross between a kid sister and a daughter" to Sparks "how does he DO that?" (I lol'd) to Neo's "I escaped to have a real life. I have one. I won't pretend differently."

I saw at least one review on a Chapter 22 - but I don't see any more chapters than 20. Do you have more chapters for this anywhere? I would absolutely *love* to read them if so.

The ending makes me cry, but this whole fic is pure gold. Absolutely perfect characterization, and I'm so in love with them as a ship and their story, and more in love with Trinity than ever before, and Neo, and… I'm losing coherency, but this is just amazing. It's going into my recs list on my Dreamwidth, and into my fic database as a favorite, and I think it's in the best of the best Matrix fics ever written. Can't imagine why you ever wanted to delete it. I can only wish you were ever inspired to write more!

Hi there. I know its been quite some time, but in case you are still receiving msg from here, I think you deserve to get this message.

Ive been a matrix fangirl back in the day when it first aired, a young girl back then. Yesterday in my early 30ties, I somehow got the urge to re-watch to movies, for all times sakes, and the nostalgia got the better of me and I felt the urge to look for some fanfic. Since being a lot older and mature than back in my day, and being a rather big snob in what fics I choose, fics that have a certain writing quality in them, not just the content I want to read, I finally stumbled upon yours.

And wow, let me tell you, this is one hell of a great writing youve got going here! Apart from spot-on characterization, offering a far greater depth to the characters the movies themselves had the chance to convey, you make wonderful observations and even better insertions into the whole universe, that is coming alive in front of the readers eyes. Combine that with a great writing style and narrative, consider me mightily impressed (and extremely surprised after reading on your profile you once took the fic down because you found it lacking somehow). This is by far the best matrix fix I have read, but more than that, its a great fic, period. I great story combined with wonderful and detailed, elaborate writing. You dont shape, form or bend the characters or the universe to your needs, your own feelings, the narrative you want to give, you take what already is and expand on it, let it take its own shape and form, tell its own story, you the channel of the story that is being told, and I love it! Really, I just wanted to let you know that your writing seriously impresses me, you observation, style and skills far surpassing the simple world of fanfiction-writing-for-fun or own-daydreams-put-to-paper. So despite the fact that you dont know me, so my words might not be of great value to you, let me assure you that you did great here and that you have some serious skills with character portrayal and writing in general as well!

Also, thank you for the fic itself, it is exactly what I have been wanting/needing/craving after yesterdays nostalgic marathon - an expansion, explanation and introspect extension - something to complete the experience. :) THANK YOU.

The ending of this movie was horrible. HORRIBLE. I stood up and yelled at the movie screen when I saw it. But you...you've given it a bit more closure, and even though this was sad, it was also very sweet in its own way. This entire story was great. I am completely into this fic. I love what you've done with Switch here. Ordinarily, I don't buy into the whole Switch and Apoc thing, but you've done it in a way that feel real.

Gosh it's so good it literally hurts to read. Every chapter makes me choke on tears. Thank you for such a deep, multifaceted focus on Trinity, i think she's one of the most interesting female characters ever but not many people do justice to her, regarding her as just another leather-clad action girl. Thanks for your brilliant description of Neo and Trin's love story, chapters 15&16 touched my heart, i'd say i found in them the essence, the core of what i loved in the Matrix trilogy and in their relationship. You helped me to figure it out. Thanks for your thoughful exploration of every other character.
