I just loved reading this ! So sad, you seem not to write here anymore.

Unfortunately i have to lay down the scenarios that may or may not have ocured, being the reason this story will never be completed by the original author.
Worst case scenario-Author is dead, because he has completely disappeared from the internet (at least with his pen name), because every post on " .com" is from 2010. Even the links to his other accounts.
2. Scenario-since he is a software developer he probably didn't want to have a "childish" reputation when publishing his products.
3. Scenario-he doesn't care about the community anymore.
4. Scenario-any other assumptions you might have.

They really don't, and I'm finding it more and more difficult to find any Jerlita fluff, which is what I adore about many of the wonderful writers we have here on

It's the opinion of this reviewer that they're probably the most adorable fictional couple I've ever come across, and it's sappy love stories like this that make me come back and check for JxA fluff every so often. There was actually a point in my life where I felt this story was so great that I copied it into a word document on my laptop and saved it just in case links broke or this story was removed for one reason or another.

In all reality though, I'm hoping the author just ended up with too much to handle to have writing this remain a hobby. It's better than some of the other questions I'm seeing, and more than likely that isn't the case :p. Optimistically speaking, having too much to handle is really the best case scenario for stopping a story, rather than just having no inspiration to keep going or leaving us hanging like the clothes out to dry.

"Hopefully my next update won't take quite as long." Well, it's been, what, five years? Six? You obviously had more ideas, what with the cliff hanger and the eye of XANA in Aelita's eyes. Now, with that said...

This was one of the most beautiful things I've ever read! The fandom really doesn't give Jerlita enough credit, making Jeremy and Aelita act distant and all despite all they've been through. And to be honest, I really think this story holds a lot of value in lessons to be learned, not just about Jerlita but about relationships, gender roles and the important role sex and lack thereof plays in a relationship. It speaks of how sex can strengthen the bond between two people instead of just being used for petty or pleasurable reasons. This is a beautiful, mature piece of art, not just for a fanfiction but for a piece of writing in itself.
