Or do they need to carry their weapons the way they did. They might hide the Zats given their alien origin but everything else would have been perfectly legal given their military affiliation and if asked why a simple 'Classified' would have been the catch-all being used. So that bit of the fic just seems goofy to be honest. Given the fact that they are on US Soil. They'd at most just have the Zat and their pistols. It isn't like they are deploying to an unknown combat zone and if they were deployed with proper armament. They'd be using more than one.

Interesting story but in need of rewriting and editing. Especially now given its age.

While nice. I have the one issue that Kryptonians are supposedly from another galaxy. So the Gou'ld attacking it and getting a prisoner is a bit far fetched and a touch unbelievable.

No research assistant is going to enter an empty office and shut down a computer even if they didn't know it was the department heads office.
all they'd do is lock the office and report the security breach.
shutting down a computer could cost months of work which they simply wouldn't risk without asking

Wonderfully done - both Clark's thoughts and the conversation - and yes, I'm just reading this story for the first time today.

Great idea, I would like to keep reading and see where you take the story.

BUT, my brain just can't take it any more - the spelling errors, the grammar failures, the horror of your complete lack of proof-reading skills.

Please, take 2 minutes, read over what you've written with a slightly critical eye and you'll see all those irritating little errors that make this look like the dog's dinner after it's been half eaten and splattered all over the floor (i.e. a complete mess).

Please fix the spelling and grammar errors - then you'll have a great story idea that has been shown some love an care. Currently, you have a great idea that's been vomited onto the page and thrown at the wall to see what might stick.

I quite enjoyed this. I hope you'll come back to it one day.
