Aww, I really loved this! Sweet without being sappy, I especially liked Zoe's realisation that Jayne had quietly been there all along, not forcing himself into her life but waiting and supporting her as best he could. Suddenly I can see this pairing working.

I love this story! Realize you wrote it a while back, but any chance of a continuance/sequel? Beautifully done, in character, deep emotions from the two who don't often let their guards down during the show, but not overdone in a flowerdy, sickly-sweet way. Nice, nice work! More please?

Wow. I must say that was a lot better than I thought it would be, considering it was Jayne/Zoe fic. The idea of the two just kind of came to me as a watching an episode and I was quite surprise to see that there were a few stories about them.

i really enjoyed your story. don't know how i feel about a jayne/zoe pairing, but your ability to make the characters come through like they did on the show/movie in your own story is very good.

Lord tell me you have a sequel to this! I was ponderin' over how everyone would react to/treat Zoe after Wash's dyin' and I thought: "It'll be the most unlikely character", as much as I wanted it to be Mal, I went: "JAYNE! It'd be most unexpected." But alas, I was not the only one who thought so. PLEASE TELL ME YOU MADE A SEQUEL. *begs* I'll give ya some protein bars. D

Zoë and Jayne’s interaction is dead on, and I liked they way you made them come from the same sort of place. In a weird way, it would make the most sense that he would understand her because he’s a simple sort of person. Not stupid, but simple in that there is wrong and rights, happiness and sadness, mourning and moving on. I also liked the way you ended the story, with a heck of a lot of possibility. Keep up the good work!

"My beautiful Autum Flower" ... oh Wash. this is kinda sweet. though I wish Mal was less of a punk in it. Guess it had to be that way for the story to work. :-\
