Reviews for Frozen Fears
Guest chapter 1 . 7/14
Sam is like a bratty rich kid. And this is why they have talked, because it’s always about Sam! The world shouldn’t revolve around him (but the writers make it so)
Wildfire's Flame chapter 1 . 7/2
Well. Its 2020. I think this still feels very much like the Sam and Dean of 2005. I would have liked more of the story. Maybe something with Dad or in a hospital or back in the car. I would like to know of the research John did... I also like the way Dean is with Sam even if he struggles with Sams want for normalcy.
Angelus 408 chapter 1 . 9/28/2018
Very realistic.
I could almost hear Sam saying those things about his choice of a life and not wanting to choose to leave his family.

I also like how John saves them at the end.

All good ideas, very well done.

Thanks.

Great story. Like your version of events. Poor Sam having to choose.

Wow! 2005? Boy did I find an oldie but goodie that I somehow missed all these years! Wonderful story harking back to a simpler time time. I actually love how it was mostly Dean's POV but really about Sam. As you probably know by now, if you're even still checking these messages, that's exactly the way the early seasons of show were primarily written. Even after all these years, this story still rings perfectly true in tone and substance. I love stories set in this period...before Stanford but old enough for Sam to be coming into his own but still needing his brother. Just wanted to let you know folks are still enjoying even the stuff from long ago.
Guest chapter 1 . 2/8/2016
I'm not gonna lie, when I saw the description I laughed a little because what immediately sprang to mind was "Dean has an STD" but this is actually a very good story. I like that this discussion happens before Sam leaves, because it seemed uncharacteristic to me that he wouldn't tell Dean first (despite them leaving it at a fight with dad in the series). The voices were great, so either you're from the Midwest or you really know your stuff because you've got the Winchester way of speaking down pat! Hope to read more from you! Great work!
Dramajunkie3066 chapter 1 . 9/9/2014
oh this was heart breaking but good I just wish there was more closure at the end maybe a hospital scene where the brothers talk it out or something. sorry I'm daydreaming, excellent work!
WritesByTheMoonlight chapter 1 . 7/16/2014
Awww...I could only imagine what Dean must've been feeling when Sam left. I could only think how hard it was for him to let Sam go off to school-this fic is gorgeously well written and the ending shows that vulnerability that Dean doesn't show very often, and there's that slight over-protectiveness of Sam in there too. I so do love fics like this where Dean has to take care of Sam ;)
ValykirieRevolution chapter 1 . 1/6/2011
You touched on two things that I really liked: one, Dean has allwys been there for Sam in ne way or another, and the second is that Dean never wants to be apart from Sam. In fact, there was even something fatherly about Dean that you can see sometimes. Very nice.
dsl116 chapter 1 . 1/2/2011
I loved this story! Found it by accident. I'm not sure if this was an entire story or not but the writing was perfect. Thank you for writing it. I'm interested in other stories you have written. I think I'll do a bit of searching to see what else of yours is out there. Thanks.
CeCe Away chapter 1 . 10/19/2010
Another good one. I always enjoy your writing. Wish I had an entire day to just read all the Faye stories.
mousefiction chapter 1 . 1/15/2010
"So Dean clung to Sam, just to know he was still there, just to hang on to the hope that his brother hadn’t left him yet."

:[

That was sad. But nicely done.

Good job.
Becomingwhaturmeantobe chapter 1 . 1/25/2008
Oh wow, I loved Dean in this. Great job.
pringle.sam chapter 1 . 11/4/2007
This was so sad, especially the last lines! Aww... poor Dean...
Nana56 chapter 1 . 10/11/2006
Dean's pov may be a little foreign to you, but you nailed it. Great job!
