Actually Sofia shouldn't have done the investigation either. She had worked with the team before, she was biased. She didn't even conduct things properly and I don't know why she was allowed to do that.

good story. i like this. i know what greg was referring to, season 4 episode 2. he found a uniform.

I wish they'd make that into a real episode!
Seriously, I couldn't stop reading, was on the edge of my seat and during the rescue scene I was even holding my breath a little.
The way it was written was brilliant, I could picture everything going on.
And that wasn't as action packed as your other stuff? I've got to go find your other stuff!

i think Sofia let her friendship/knowing Greg cloud her judgement. Just b/c she knows Greg and worked with him doesn't mean it gives her any right to pass judgement on Nick. I think someone else should of done this. it all worked out in the end. Greg is and will be OK. Nick didn't/isn't going to lose his Job. And there friendship is still good.

I liked this, especially that Nick both took responsibility for his mistakes and actually looked at his motivations, and found that as much as he didn't want to admit it, his experience from "Grave Danger" actually did affect his actions in the field. It seems like so many people refuse to admit their mistakes or even question their own actions; they just insist that they're right and refuse to listen to anyone who tells them otherwise. I think Nick showed a lot of courage in admitting that he was wrong, perhaps even more than it took to rescue Greg. Well done! (And sorry for the rambling, I haven't slept well lately.) :)

Just found this story and I thought it was so awesome. The whole time I was reading it I could see it in my mind what was happening as though it were an actual episode of the show. Great job, I will definitely be adding this to my favorites list.

Really Good story. It seemed like something that Nick might accidently do right after his nightmare incident only because he was subcounsiously thinking about what he had gone through and not really remembering to follow protocols. But it also seems like it would be him that would be the one to go after Greg even if it hadn't been his fault that Greg was stuck in the first place. Even though him and Warrick are best friends, him and Greg seem to almost have a big brother/little brother thing going on, and he is very protective of him.
