That is the sort of thing that would completely suit her. Her crisis is at a bad time. The link between her and Harry is so profound (and sad). Her fear of hospital is understandable. Important now for Harry to talk to her. TGM |
| The Ghostly Minion chapter 7 . 6/8 ... and now, we come to the betrayal of Hermione to Harry. The memory clearly sees the moment of that treason, but not what happens after. Dealing with Greyback was a superb scene. Lupin’s justice was poetic. We still don’t know how the spell can be ended. Clearly though it demands an amount of trust on Hermione’s part that as of yet we can’t see her make. The ending was appropriate. Love was never a question. Until the morning after. TGM |
| The Ghostly Minion chapter 6 . 6/8 An odd mix of nostalgia looking forward. The reaction of the students in Snape’s class was so funny. I thought Snape’s idea made sense, though the execution is unclear. They had a strange sense of mourning that they couldn’t turn back the clock, yet hating that reaction too. TGM |
| The Ghostly Minion chapter 5 . 6/8 The flashback is obviously a pivotal moment in their lives. I have to believe that it informs all that came after. The scenes with the group gathered for her are heartfelt. You have to wonder though if what Hermione offered is more than ‘cheap grace’. The last dance carried vast meaning for them. The question is if they can ever get past the trust issues to their mutual love. Harry’s arguments for her remaining make sense. Somehow, I feel the reunion with her parents might be crucial. Only one way to find out. TGM |

Harry find hope in the oddest places — but hope really is all he has. BTW, Fie on you! This story is making read it at one go to find out what will happen. | The Ghostly Minion chapter 2 . 6/8 ...and we in in deeper. It is hard to understand Harry and his motivations, saving knowing that he has to do this if ever he is to heal. Hermione is dying? Perhaps, it is is hard at this point to see if she’s actually dying or metaphorically. It might be suicide by lack of care, or it might be something else. We shall see. TGM |
