NinjaFairy86 chapter 1 . 11/22/2018
I haven't read a FF7 fanfic in about 15 years, but I'm so happy to give this one a shot. I really like it so far.
ChrysalisBluem chapter 51 . 8/23/2017
Would you believe me that I only stumbled upon this fic due to my curiosity of searching for a random pair that I have in mind for years now? Hahaha! SephiRith is one of my secret pairings ever, and I had no idea that there are hundreds out there, like you, who had the same thought that this pairing could've been such a huge possibility.

Two words: Thank You.
This fic got me hooked the moment I read your synopsis. And seeing the amount of reviews you had? I just knew that I had to read this. And you know what? It failed to disappoint me.

Critique first: Grammar? Superb. Choice of words were spot on, and if there were others who pointed out redundancy, it didn't appeared like that. Quite frankly, it matched the atmosphere of every paragraph on every chapter published. Amount of dialogue was used wisely. Because you wanted the approach where we had to see what the character's been thinking. It made more effect on that and more emotions were brought out. Any reader could also tell you know your game quite well as they read on. The details here are all very well written. It felt like I as really playing, or rather watching, the aftermath of the main game itself. I haven't felt one Character out of place here. (Well, at one point Vincent. But I understood why. He was making an effort. Which I'm glad to see.) I was surprised that Aerith could also have a spitfire attitude, but then again I remembered how she can always hold her own. As you stated, she 'was' raised in the slums. Sweet girl can be a tough one when you need it. Though, I do wonder why you spell Zack's name to 'Zax'. I thought it was a typographical error at first, but in every chapter you mention his name, it was still spelled that way. But throughout everything, that's just my teeny-tiny- bit of a complain.

You managed to write down and answer every speck of question I have in mind after I played almost every game in the FFVII franchise. It's been one of my longest dreams to have Sephiroth find out the very truth of his existence. Lucrecia, his bastard-of-a-father Hojo, Jenova; everything! Sure, I've honestly expected more angst after that reveal. But that breakdown... It broke my heart more than I could ever imagine. It cried along with him. This has to be one of the reasons why I could never ever hate Sephiroth even after everything he has done. Like you said, and to everyone who knows the truth of his character, his life had been a living lie - up until the very end.

That's why I thank you for this fic. That second chance was everything he needed and, even with unpopular demand, deserve. And who could be better to help him rise up from his guilt but our lovely flower girl herself, right? Truth be told, even though there were a lot of canons between CloudxAerith and ZackxAerith, I still believe she should've ended up with Sephiroth. (If ever given the chance to have more screen time rather than the Forgotten City part.)

Well - what more is there to say?! This is just pure wonderful Thank you again! And I pray you make more fics about these two. Now... Time to read your other works as well. HAHAHAHA!

Someone NEEDS to draw a picture of the end of this chapter! With sephiroth looking surprised, with a flower crown in his hair, with aerith and the boy in the background in the church, and sells kissing his cheek.

UnLike Us chapter 51 . 10/21/2016
This is wonderfully written an an absolute joy to read. The slow development of Sephiroth's recognition denial and acceptance for his guilt and love towards Aerith seem quite realistic and is emencly heart warming. The loneliness and alienation Aerith feels is heart wrenching and so are her small misunderstandings when her insecurities are revealed. I particularly remember the scene in the beginning where Sephiroth goes to work to buy a gift for Aerith but she thinks he's left her for good and is drowned in her despair.

Really, an excellent piece of work. Also liked the kids ;)

I'm glad to have stumbled upon this awesome story! I love the way that you make this pairing work so effortlessly. The way you wrote Sephiroth made me both feel compassion for his character and see his human side. I love how he and Aerith are very different, yet they go together so well! I truly enjoyed this fic!

Guest chapter 51 . 3/23/2013
I absolutely adore that story! Sephiroth was so awkward that it made me pity him. Aerith too! They were made for each other!
Aedrex chapter 46 . 10/19/2012
This is one of the better seph/aeris fics i have read. Although I must inform you that even without Jenova's cells, Sephiroth would still be more than a match for Red. His eyes are still green, so he obviously still has his mako-altered body. He may not have Jenova's abilities, but he's still physically stronger and more experienced than any of Cloud's group, besides Vincent. A SOLDIER's strength comes from their heavy mako exposure. He would still have his mako due to the fact that he was born again from the Lifestream, which is where mako is taken from. Bottom line: Red would be no threat.
