This is a great story, and I liked how Beckett isn't scared of the Chair anymore.

you should have a sequil to this where carson is trapped with the chair and the are racing to save him.

Is the chair harmful? Is he addicted or could he become addicted? Will Beckett and the chair develop a relationship? She, the chair, seems to be decidedly female and caring and seems to have a preference to Beckett over Sheppard.

*Mags runs around in circles waving her arms above her head and screaming! Small children run in fear.*

Wow! The ending felt a bit rushed (like I should talk), but everything was just so good. Mention and use of Peter, Bates, and even Dumais was wonderful-Bates apologized!; love the exploration of Carson's unease about the Chair; best of all, actually having them dealing with deaths, burying the dead...it's so rare and never seen on the show.

One tidbit, pardon my mentioning it, but...the only member of the USAF on Atlantis before The Siege, Part I (maybe even until Intruder) was Sheppard, so that should be a Marine, not an Airman with Bates.

"You, Dr. Beckett, turn the whole city on." The city's not the only one! I'm sorry, but I LOVED this line. Despite the overall seriousness of the story, you even had some humor. Just YUM!

This was very touching and I liked the hint of Grodin/Dumais, people rarely ship him with anyone. Was a nice post-ep piece for Hotzone but also a hilarious (yet almost serious too) piece for Beckett/Chair. I loved this line. "You, Dr Beckett, turn the whole city on" :D
