That seemed way too sudden, and I think Will's a a** for not giving her time to get over it on her own. Strike while the iron's hot, eh? His love may be sincere, and it's too bad she never felt that way back before. But you don't guilt someone into giving you a chance after they've suffered a major heartache. You let them pick themselves up, or at least stop crying, and be a friend to them before you inflict yourself on them. It just felt too sudden, all of it, and I think if Ethan knew he was going to go back only to say goodbye to his folks he would've told her. He's too compulsively honest to let her think he's leaving her for good. And since you don't give a time-frame, I think it's rather sudden for Leah to be all willing to kiss Will, too.

Don't get me wrong, you have talent, and you capture the flavor of the writing in the speech-patterns and the characters (and not just the main two, I loved your Charity). But that ending po'd me. Very annoyed. Be comforted, it's only b/c I was so invested in your fic that I'm so upset.

NOOOOO! LEAH AND ETHAN BELONG

I'm sure there's no chance of this ever being updated and resolved, since it's been three and a half years, but I wanted to comment on it anyway. I came to looking for resolution to Leah and Ethan story, since I hate what happened to them in the books, and yours is the best story I found. Even if your story didn't actually give me a perfect ending, it continued the story in a manner that left me much more at peace than the end of "Until Angels Close my Eyes". At least here it seems like there's hope, right? I'm way too old to care about these characters, but I still wish desperately for a happy ending for them.

Oh, one more thing-I swear, you're the only author on here who nailed Ethan's speech patterns. Very in-character.

Is there a reason you left the hugest cliffhanger of all time and then haven't updated? It's been...about...a year and nine months. Are you that full of writer's block, or did you just forget about the story?
