Because, stories and narratives that disturbe catch your attention. And, I think that you made a valid point in the nasty and unforgiving ways that a corrupt government will act. | dyslecksec chapter 11 . 9/14/2006 What a great illustration of the adage, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!" Thank you for the enjoyable read. I found the scene where Sam tells Jack she'd rather die than marry him especially poignant. Such a great example of what sort of grief false assumptions can cause. The greatest mistake both Sam & Jack made relating to the whole "Pete thing" was assuming they knew what the other was thinking and feeling. I think you did a superb job in showing that. ) |
| Lanta chapter 11 . 10/29/2005 I've enjoyed this story. I do think you could have done more - I'd have liked to see Jacob appear for instance, and to see the two of them settle into their life offworld - but what you did do was quite original and a good read :) |
