Here to say that I first read this fic when I got into Phantom in high school. Years later I was discussing it with a friend and remembered your excellent fic. It took some searching, but I was thrilled to see that it still exists. Now I basically go back and re-read it whenever I rewatch the Royal Albert Hall stage version! You truly find a way to improve upon the original story and give Christine so much depth and agency. Thanks for writing a beautiful story that has stuck with me for many years.

Good, but I feel like this story could easily have more. I love your writing style, and the twist with Christine being a little crippled was unique. I liked it :)

This is the story that should have been told. Your writing, storytelling, and characterization are masterful and enchanting. I almost wish that I could see more of this gorgeous world; these glorious and deep characters! And yet, as it is, it is simply, flawlessly, complete.

I just finished reading this. It is honestly one of the most beautiful stories I've ever read. I love the character of Christine, the seamstress. All the characters are developed well to fit this version of the story, as opposed to Gaston Leroux's, and it works extremely well. They are the same characters, with one small difference that changed it all.

The ending was beautiful. I loved Meg's moment of realisation-that Christine and Erik were now free, because neither of them cared about what the world saw as negative.

Anyway, I'm going on quite a bit, but I just wanted to tell you that...well, wow. This story is truly wonderful. Parts made me want to cry, others made me smile a cheesy grin in support of EC romance. :) Basically, it was amazing. I loved it. :)
