I really have enjoyed this story and I hope that you plan to work on it again in the future.

Had an idea like this for a Harry potter story, the abuse chapter and this one so far, but it was with Harry having a twin sister.

This was a good start, thanks for sharing.

The story is really good but is it completed? I like how Draco cares about Harry and its funny how he's so demanding but tries to calm himself down. Also in the real books for HP is Dumbeldore a bad person?

Oh, no! Not an abandoned story! You've done ever so well after the second chapter...

I suppose that it shall never be finished, and I ought to simply make up the rest, like I usually do with abandoned stories.

Right, so Harry is physically healed after a couple days or so, kept holed up in Draco's quarters and only communicating with Draco, Remus, and Severus. The three aforementioned men/men and boy/characters are disturbed by the depth of psychological wounds that Harry displays, and want to heal him of that, too. So they set out to research. Meanwhile, Harry REALLY really wants to talk to Ron and Hermione, having last contacted them spring of last year. Draco, though, is worried that Ron and Hermione will steal Harry away from him. Bloody possessive creature. Harry screams, Draco sprouts wings, Harry is startled, and eventually Draco backs down, you see. Draco is a ferret, Ron is a weasel, Mione is a know-it-all, blah. Something trivial or life-threatening pulls D, R, & HG together; probably Harry. Like a present. Or healing. Or battle or whatev. Harry still has troubles with feeling for Draco because of ... lack of experience? Emotional trauma? An ill placed wart? Dunno.. Moldy-shorts is still on the loose, after that GOFire debacle, so of course he concocts some weird plan to catch Potter, which, like an untimely commercial break, just happens to be put into motion right before or right after Harry and Draco achieve some sort of resolution. Death Eaters torture Harry, but they are only minor Death Eaters, and are most likely going against LV's plans in a misguided attempt to impress the snake-boss-man by doing it themselves. So Draco comes and saves the day, with the help of Harry, because he is no damsel in distress. They get away, and run back to Hogwarts, where Draco does his 'Must Hid Mate' thing for a little while until Harry threatens to withhold kisses or something.

Then, as Harry begins to have visions of Voldie being all "mwahaha. My plans are beginning to fall into place. Too bad I must remain terribly vague, for you never know when that silly Potter is watching", Harry is once again 'kidnapped,' but this time we discover that some quiet kid who is always in the corner and never a main character, like Neville, or the scorned girlfriend, Ginny, harbours an obsessive love for him that they are sure is returned. Here the reader goes 'oh my god, the lines they uttered are terribly different with these in mind'! Unfortunately, this person is disturbingly sane, and they take a portkey to somewhere outside Hogwarts with Harry. Maybe they arrive at some sort of manor somewhere, and the obsessed person tries to get Harry to play the domestic househusband, which works for the most part, for there are jillions of wards on the place and they have his wand. Harry either:

(1) enlists the help of the house elves, takes back his wand, and brings the Imbalanced One to St. Mungo's like a good little light wizard,

or

(2) goes batshit insane, finds a weapon and knocks out/kills his captor, before running out, stealing a broom, and beginning to fly towards Hogwarts.

Voldemort is defeated somehow, and they live Happily Ever After, because I'm tired. Night.

WOAH there, cowboy! The story is progressing with incredible alacrity! Snape thinks "the mate is a male? Nah, he couldn't be Potter!" The first person he thinks of is Harry, which is odd. Secondly, Draco supposedly knew that every student had passed him except for Harry. Did he keep a checklist or something? You cannot tell me that if you stood at the front door of your school/workplace you would be able to tell who was absent. That is a tad ridiculous. Besides, not all of the wizards in the wizarding world attend Hogwarts. How did he know that, just because Harry was absent, he was even an option? And there are just other little things; people picking things up too quickly, like they are all of one hive mind, or something. Don't get me wrong-I love intelligent, perceptive characters. But when people pick up and put together clues too easily, it seems odd and rushed.

Indeed, to me this whole thing so far is a bit too rushed. It's great, but try to draw things out a little more; give more explanation, and allow the characters to have more space. Begin with one of the dreams, perhaps, the night before he goes to Hogwarts, instead of the first scene being that meeting. You can then show how much it unsettled him, and how tired he was. You can have the journey to Hogwarts, and use it to explain other things, like why he knows that his mate is a male, or about Veela or whatever you like.

When Harry doesn't come to school, it should be a passing observation for Draco, who keeps and eye on his enemies, not a romantic revelation. Maybe he roams the halls at night, because he cannot sleep (the dreams would be all painful and sorrowful; rather unsettling, indeed), and runs into Ron and Hermione getting to the Room of Requirement to plan how to save Harry. If you allow Draco to be Head Boy, then he can force them to tell him stuff, or else they would lose significant points and serve many detentions. Or perhaps he has special invisibility Veela powers, and sneaks into the RoR with them.

If he demands to go with them, then he should either search for him like Ron and Hermione would (by completely passing the cupboard in favour of the bedrooms, especially Dudley's spare) or by feeling a pull towards the cupboard.

If he cannot convince them to allow him to come along, then he can learn of it later at some point, after Harry has some problems in his vicinity, like flinching, bad reactions to the appellation 'boy', or claustrophobia.

Sorry, I don't mean to write out your story for you when I've only read two chapters of your story as it is; I just want to give suggestions to improve the pacing.

Interesting concept. I don't think I have read this type of VeelaDraco before. It's really good! I can't wait to read the next chapters! Please update soon!

I love what youve written so far. Draco really needs to look at how he approaches harry and get over himself. Have you abandoned this story? Or do you have a more completed version elsewhere? If so on what site? Happy New Year.
