Wow me like so far

I'm in an emotional roller-coaster. Out of the depths of hell, you gave this fantastic and light-hearted courtship from an emotionally constipated dog demon.
The stones being hurled to Jaken is really funny. I have chibi versions of them running silly in my head. It's sooo cute and funny.
Also, I notice that you've used some Sailormoon name references in this story, or is that just my imagination?
Sess having a nervous breakdown over dinner, is soo funny. I'm really glad I found this story of yours. It would be one of my very fave fic about Sess and Rin. Thank you.

The angst. I'm crying. I'm a total wrecked. It's so gut-wrenching and so gooood.

Ohhhhh... this chapter is so good. Giving the back story in the eyes of Sess is a real nice touch.
I like how charming and deadly Rin is. An absolute femme-fatale.

Hi, wow, first couple days of 2020 and I’m here reviewing a very old fic. I just wanted to relive my love for Rin and Sesshomaru, and this fic really brought it back. Great writing on sesshomaru’s feelings and emotions. There were some great plot twists and hilarious moments. I only have two hours of sleep left as it is 6am, but my mind wouldn’t let me put this down. Overall a great story with both the realness of the actual manga plus the juice we needed to fulfill our own desires. Cheers!

Also, I don't think it's right for Sess to be attacking "from the back". He may be power-hungry, but he's not exactly underhanded.

So I'm doing a thing and going back to stories I've glowingly reviewed in my youth and rereading them to see how much much my perspective has changed over time. And I realized, with this story, not much as changed and you wrote a fantastic story with characters so in tune to the canon it seemed so believeable. I loved reading it again and would probably do it again.

There's just something in the stoicness of Sesshomaru and his rash emotions he tries to conceal that I absolutely love in your characterization of him. And the complex idea of the pearl and Rin's lives (and deaths).

Infinite kudos and I hope you enjoyed reading this review (so many years since you published this story).
