Nina chapter 7 . 7/16/2017
Poor Harry. I hope he escapes! And kills or tortures Severus! I hope Dumbledor finds out his spy is betraying him since the beginning. I hop Harry doesn't fall for him!
PleaforInsanity chapter 7 . 2/21/2016
Lovely, you have great insight. The quality of this story has really made me curious about crime and punishment, which i will surely read.
tyetiger chapter 7 . 12/16/2014
Creepy. And yet I like it, not Snape perse (though it is rather refreshing in its own odd eway to read an IC Snape) but the whole shebang. You definitely have a way with character portraits and atmosphere.

OMG! As crazy and dark as this fic is, I think it is brilliant! It has been seven year since you have updated, so does this mean this fic is officially abandoned?
Bronze Wool chapter 7 . 6/12/2012
Absolutely Brilliant :D

I tend to avoid any fanfic that takes place in a "Snape/Prince manner." To this day I still can't figure out why anyone would assume with Snape looking the way he does, would have grown up in luxury. It just never made sense to me even as a kid.

Regardless I'm grateful I gave this story a chance.

I love how you interpretted Snape and Harry's relationship, it fits their characters and yet it still works towards Snape#s motivation for Harry later on. Their conversations are well written and fascinating to read.

Despite how I didn't think I was going to care for the manner. I found myself drawn into this environment. From the moment Harry steps into the white room, its very clean and simple. That alone makes it calm and comforting but at the same time purw white is really unsettling and lifeless. Harry has plenty of reason to be unsettled by the room.

The different rooms are delightful to read and every other second I'm excited at the prospect of leanring about another room. The black room was ultimately terrifying and watching the torture Harry endures, just through isolation and the very loss of his senses. It's an ingenius punishment and you feel for Snape as well, even if he is the cause of Harry's torture.

The house elves are cute and distrubring in their own manner by how loyal they are to Snape and how they're drawn to Harry and want to make him happy, and ultimately their master happy.

Flicker is an intruiging character and you have the house elf idealogy down perfectly. He lives to serve Snape, but he wants his own master to tend to, just like Fiddle.

Actually the three elves alone make for a good story as they have different job, quirks and relationship and status in the Snape household. Do elves get enviious of each other? Fascinating thought.

But again, the best aspect of this story is the main characters. Harry and Snape are brilliant in this. They act like their canon self but you've twisted them enough to allow the story to work in your favour. Wandering through the manor, with Harry as our eyes as we try to uncover Snape's scheme and learn just what is going in the outside world is eerie and makes for a wonderful mystery that leaves you feeling claustaphobic.

Snape I could go on for ages about, its one of the best I've ever read. He's sadistic, cruel, selfish, prone to bursts of anger. And its all wonderful to read. How he grabs Harry by his hair when introducing him to the house elves is humourous and cruel at the same time. The dinner scene when Snape actually accios Harry is a delight, but the way he corners Harry in his chair and talks down to him is terryfing and he even made me feel like a child again as he scolded Harry.

The subtle hints about his character are done well and leave you wanting more. His scene with Voldemort as he explains everything was gobsmacking evil. How he's keeping Harry unconscious to work his magic and ultimately making the boy his reward for giving Voldemort what he wants the most. It's evil ad you lov ehte fact he doens't care about the lives he's putting in danger. There is one thing he wants in this world and he doesn't care what the price is to obtain it. Hes possesive, even against the Dark Lord with makes a slight jest about using Potter for his perverse uses.

The best scene by far is the story about the Jay. I was drawn in by that segment into Snape's youth. To have something beautiful and wild, and wanting to tame it and make it your companion, is a childish desire with grave consequences, but children being as they are don't care for little details like that and that's actually a distrurbing concept, especially considering what the jay ultimately did to obtain its freedom.

Seeing this childish desire follow Snape into adulthood is an evne scarier concept. To have something that only he wants and if given the choice, would keep it locked away from the world if that meant making it his and only his. Yet at the same time their is human in Snape. How he handles a sleeping Harry, caring for him and lying their by his side, just because he wants to is quite moving and a loving gesture. Snape is capable of love, but he has such a twisted view of it.

What he's putting Harry through is so original and very dark. The use of the white room, the potions, the manipulation. It's all brilliantly done and how you keep so much hidden, to allow wonder and mystery to the reader even handled even better.

I could go on forever but I feel like I'd just be repeating myself. I'll never find another fic with this level of drama and mystery and character. I enjoyed this seven chapters and while I'm not naive enough to believe this fic will magically be continued. I will continue to re-read these chapters and love them for what they are and enjoy every second of it.

Thanks for making such a unique and wonderful story. I'll be sure to read the rest of your work

Oh,please finsh this! I so want to now. How it will end.
Nightshade's sydneylover150 chapter 7 . 9/17/2010
Wow, I really liked this! I was hesitant at first, but the story really draws you in. I like how you mix Snape's and Harry's POV together so the reader only has half the story or truth a time. Just curious, is Harry going to be mindless by the end of this or is his personality going to change? Or is it something in-between? What exactly is that potion in Harry's food and room doing to him? I know in one of the chapters it was stated that it was leeching memories or beliefs out of him? So how much will Harry be changed? (By the way, that is a fascinating concept!) What exactly did Snape promise to Voldermort and how is he managing to keep Dumbledore from owling?

Now for the really important question: Are you planning to continue the story?

I look forward to hopefully reading more in the future!
Allanasha Ke Kiri chapter 7 . 10/24/2009
I've already reviewed this chapter, so I'm forced to do an anonymous review. I read this thing ... years ago ... at least two at any rate, and then forgot I had it in my alerts. I've been going through them the last couple of days and rereading things there in the hopes to get rid of the things that aren't updated anymore ... and I find I can't do that to this one.

It is an amazing piece of work. I am literally in awe in the characters. You've managed to keep all of them in character and changing is such little ways that are believable.

The story line is amazing and I find myself wanting to read it again and again, even though I've just finished it.

So, I will be keeping this story on my alerts with the eternal hope that you will someday decide to continue with this story.

Wow. Update soon.
turquoise-kitsune chapter 7 . 12/9/2008
This is a really awesome story..

I hate it when people write slash stories and one minute Harry is painfully straight and then he sees Whoever semi-coherent and he's suddenly gay, this story shows what it's like to suddenly like someone who you wouldn't think about...

love it, update soon!

its been 2 years, I was wondering if you have plans for finishing it?
Coragyps chapter 7 . 8/26/2008
wow, this is amazing - I love how dark it is, and the way you tell the story partly from the house elves perspective . . . totally took me by surprise when Snape was working for V, but I like it even better that way. Unfortunately I can't add it to my favorites because I only do that with finished stories, and I see you're not updating any more. Bummer!
